The service is great. Know this location is kinda random and you have to head to the back to order and it's for sure a pick up spot.”

“Best lemon meringue pie we've had in many, many years! We've been searching for a similar one we grew up with in New Orleans from a bakery that shut down years ago - MacKenzie's. We finally found it! We loved everything about this pie - the crust, the filling and the meringue. We closed our eyes and thanked God for Miz G's pie as we tasted it for the first time. Just delicious. We'll definitely be back.”

“Got the pinto bean soup which was a little salty, but not bad. My boyfriend said his tacos were a little bland. Guacamole was okay. Thought it was a little strange that there was a bunch of staff lined up, they looked like they were waiting for patrons, like maybe it's usually busier? Service was good.Vegetarian options: Bean soup had bacon in it. Almost got the crispy guacamole tacos, a unique menu item I hadn't seen before. Maybe next time!”

“I had my wedding at the Perot Museum, so Beyond the Box was 1 of 2 approved caterers, and the other option was extremely expensive. I have no issues with this, as Beyond the Box inspired confidence in me when we went to in to try the appetizers and fajita dinner (pictures attached). They were organized, very detailed, and worked out of solution for our special dietary needs guest. I didn't like the ranchero enchiladas, but Marci had an alterative. I didn't get to try them until the wedding, and they were exactly what I wanted. I wish I could get the recipe, but I doubt they will spill their secrets. Food and drinks were fantastic! FYI, there is a 20% admin fee, so budget appropriately.”
