We stopped for a quick snack after visiting the Perot museum, which is less than a block away. We were pleasantly rewarded. Classic Tex mex that had understated quality. It starts with the light crisp tortilla chips that is a standout star by itself. The quesadillas and enchiladas had a well seasoned taste and mouth feel that reflects the emphasis of using higher quality cheeses & meats. Food was ok. Had the Fenix burger. Well served, hot fresh. I believe they used a traditional frozen patty but it was a good size and tasted ok. Stayed away from the Mexican food. Those of you who know me, know the expectation past the checkpoint isn't very high so I usually stay away from Mexican food. Service was excellent, ambiance was nice.
