We requested a table at the back on the other side of a partition. It can get quite loud (in a good way) on very busy nights. This section of the restaurant is a bit quieter. Everything was awesome...as usual.
Kristopher. Kristopher. Kristopher. I find Texas once a year. Al’s is a staple for me. I don’t remember names often. Somehow I remember Marty from the other location. It was that meaningful. This time around we tried the second location and I’m glad we did. I have a new name to remember and a date to book for next. Thank you for the amazing evening! Top tier as always
It was very busy and noisy, but our server Lou made us feel special! We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary and would definitely come back!

Based on the reviews, Al Biernat's Oak Lawn is a very nice restaurant and a great pick for special occasions in uptown Dallas. The service is top tier and personable, making guests feel like the most important people in the restaurant. The hospitality is described as service in the form of a performing art, and the ultimate form of luxury is a human being who genuinely cares about the experience. The food is outstanding, with steak as good as any, and the menu is deep and diverse. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch with a very yummy dessert, and the filet cap (spinalis) was a perfect recommendation. The atmosphere is upscale but still laid back and relaxing. The staff is very welcoming, and servers are on top of everything without hovering. The manager went out of his way to create a special menu for a wedding celebration. Menu prices are on the upscale side, but the quality and presentation of the food reflect that. It is a perfect place for a wonderful date night or a fabulous dinner, and guests definitely made the right choice coming here.
