“As always-Absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The tacos were packed with great ingredients, but the real standout was the queso (first time trying it) — it was basically liquid gold. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of spice without being too much. So good it will now become an addition to my regular order ( beef chimichuri , chicken tikka & guacamole)! The service was also excellent, friendly, attentive, and helpful. We really appreciated the recommendation to try the queso because it ended up being one of the best parts of the meal. Great food, great service, and definitely a place worth coming back to!“

The seabass was cooked perfectly — flavorful, tender, and one of the best I’ve had. My wife ordered the steak, and it was incredibly tender and cooked exactly right. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The service was flawless from start to finish. The manager, Will, did an outstanding job ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we had a great experience. His attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. This was a memorable evening, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend The Oar House to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Rockwall.“

The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.

The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.

My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.

“March 2025 We chose this place for out 53rd wedding anniversary. We have had excellent meals here in the past for special occasions but tonight was beyond expectations. Tuesday nights are usually low attendance, but the staff at BIN 303 were beyond welcoming and attentive to us. It seems as if the whole staff was waiting for us, all knew about our occasion, and they went out of their way to make this evening a special one for us. The meal was spectacular in every way. Our waitress Seeli was attentive and a joy. The bar hostess was also extremely accommodating, taking good care of us while we waited for a private booth to become available. Everyone made for a perfect evening for us, one that we will never forget. As for the meal. the filets were the best we have ever had, and every side and desert made the meal unforgettable. She ordered Scottish Salmon Bento lunch (it came w/ miso soup, side salad, 2x spring rolls, edamame, California rolls, steamed rice (fried rice is available for additional $2). She said the taste on all of her bento lunch was on point. She definitely wanted to go back to this place again. Her friend ordered Gyoza as appetizer and she tried some and said it was also good! They tried the Green Tea Ice Cream and loved it (not too sweet!). The server was very attentive, and the place was clean and cozy. She forgot to take pic of the whole spread (which is unusual) because she was hungry and managed to take a pic of the leftovers she took home 😂.“

“Stopped into Brass Tap for a quick lunch and ended up pleasantly surprised. The Chicken Caesar Salad was legit, not one of those sad, thrown together afterthoughts, but actually fresh, well balanced, and worth ordering again. Big win there.

Also have to give them credit for having some non alcoholic options on the menu. That is awesome to see and honestly still way too rare. I would love to see them lean into that even more, especially with something on tap. Nothing against anyone enjoying a drink, but sober is cool too, and it is nice when a place makes that feel normal instead of an afterthought.

Service hit the sweet spot. Friendly, attentive, but not hovering over the table every two minutes asking if I am still chewing okay. Just enough presence to make you feel taken care of without feeling like you are being supervised. The bartenders deserve a shoutout too, they know what they are doing and keep things moving without missing a beat.

What really stood out though, I came back about a week later to see if it was just a one off good experience, and nope, same deal. Different waitress, same easygoing service, kitchen still on point, bartenders still crushing it. That kind of consistency is harder to find than it should be.

Overall, solid spot for lunch, solid vibe, and a place that clearly has its act together. If they expand those N/A options, especially on tap, I might start showing up a little more often than I planned… which my wallet may or may not appreciate.“

“The manager I think that’s who it was is so nice he’s usually In the front and he delivered tonight he didn’t have change on him and all I had for $20 pizza was $6 and wish I could have given him more last time I walked in the lady in front her pizza was wrong and he handled the situation so good. “They had candy bars on”sale” but they were stale…when I tried to return some later that day at the one on I 35 between Dallas and Waxahachie I had a horrible experience with that MOD there. I had a receipt but because I was a few miles down the road they wouldn’t return it, and not only that but he went on and on about how it would hurt his “record” if he returned anything, even though I had a receipt from that same day 20 miles away. He wouldn’t even return an $.80 purchase. If I just asked for 1 refund. It was a ridiculous experience. I will never go back to that store on I 35. Also that store continued to sell the stale products on his shelf, even though they were told they were stale as well. finally they didn’t ask for my number so I could get points and they clicked the button so quickly for me, I couldn’t put my phone number in so I had to return everything I bought after that and I had to re-purchase it again to get the points. So, I was there at 2 stores to buy a few things for over an hour and the worst customer service at the one on the way to Waxahachie“

“My family took me there for Father’s Day and it was great , we had fish, shrimp, gator, calamari, fries and hush puppies, plus cold beer . And all was great and so was our server, plus we had plenty of ketchup !“
