“Ate the Irving location and it was nice but the portions are a lot smaller… at least for my Hudson Salad, I would suggest the one on Lovers Lane. The salad on the left is at Lovers Lane and the other is Irving and you can clearly see more of the bowl. They were both delicious and service was great but I was really disappointed.“

They did inform us we were not going to be seated together but it being last minute we were okay with it. They sat us in booths next to each other. Two different waitresses. Our waitress right away told us we could not be moving around from table to table. She was not able to handle such a big table. Very unprofessional disregarding we were paying customers. Not sure if we would visit again with that kind of treatment. FYI, we still tipped more than what was expected.“

“Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Irving. We’ve had the breakfast burritos, tacos, pambazos, tacos dorados, flautas and the gorditas. Everything has been delicious! Don’t expect a big sit down area, this is the epitome of a hole in the wall and a hidden treasure! 10/10!!“

“I really enjoyed the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. Also the cheddar bay biscuits are always a winner. Downside on this visit was we had a very large party (more than 20) and the restaurant did not have a good system to track who ordered what and if they got their food. We were on a time schedule that limited us to 1.5 hrs and I had to leave with my food to go. Servers did try to get everyone what they ordered but kept loosing track of who needed what.“

“We visited SaltGrass Steak House in May 2025. We wanted the stereotypical steak, while we were on our short visit to Texas. This place did not disappoint. It is a Texas-themed steak house, which was exactly what we were seeking. The ambience is fun with a deep nod to the history of the state. The background music is quiet enough to permit conversation – which I found to be a lot more considerate than a number of other restaurants I have experienced nearby. There is a lot of Texas memorabilia on the walls, which was fun to look at. The food was outstanding. We tried some appetizers prior to our entrees. I can’t fault them. They were tasty and good value for money. Our entrees, the steaks, were perfect! If you want to taste “bliss” a visit to this place is highly advised. I hoped to sample the desserts but, because the appetizers and entrees were so delicious there was, sadly, no room. Gabe was our server. He was an absolute sweetheart. He was fun, friendly, and professional – and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. I can’t speak highly enough of this young man. To top it off, during conversation, he revealed that he has served our country in the military, and that he is a veteran. Thank you for your service, young sir. (If you visit this establishment, I hope you have the good luck to be assigned to one of Gabe’s tables!) To summarize: Ambience: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Value for Money: 10/10 Would I recommend this place? Absolutely, yes, in a heartbeat!“
