“Very good service and attention. My food was excellent thanks to the attention of the employees. The manager and Rosy are doing their job 100%.The sunlight was bothering me and without having to say anything, they lowered the curtains to block the sun. ?“
“Like always, the food is beyond delicious (especially the queso!!). We got here super late and the staff were beyond helpful. They served us up so quickly, even though I know it was an inconvenience for them. Great service paired with amazing food- what more could you ask for?!“
“Just ate there for the 1st time. Absolutely Loved i had the Barbacoa street tacos with double rice, wife had the Barbacoa burrito. Both loved it, we placed our order online & actually arrived 20 minutes early so we had no prob waiting for our order. Rated 5 Stars Across The Board. We'll Definitely Be Back More Than Once ??“
“I really liked the place, the atmosphere and the food. The waitress who served me was very friendly, she recommended everything from drinks to desserts. Thank you Isamar for your service. Just as a suggestion: the music was very loud and I had to raise my voice a lot to speak.“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Mi Cocina today, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience largely due to our server, Miterio. His attentive service, coupled with genuine warmth, truly enhanced our meal. Miterio's knowledge of the menu and his thoughtful recommendations made our dining experience unforgettable. His professionalism and friendly demeanor are a true asset to Mi Cocina. Without a doubt, a five-star dining experience!“
“Wonderful experience! House made chips and salsa were served immediately and feature a salsa roja with not quite a medium bite. Chips are crisp, not greasy. The salmon had a hint of grill char on a thick, moist salmon steak served over a bed of buttery corn and zucchini. An amazing selection of tequilas is on hand. My Tequila Manhattan with a house reposado was very nice, though maybe could have used a bit more of an orange bitter. Bartender Luis was an excellent host.“
“Excellent food! My server Darli Cardenas was very kind and made me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. I'm definitely coming back!Excellent meal! My waitress Darli Cardenas was very friendly and made me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. I will definitely return!“
“I only visit Gloria's for margaritas!! Because they never disappoint, babii, let me tell you I tried a new margarita(Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey) this time around. I can usually drink two margaritas with a shot of tequila on the side. Not today...lol That JDTW was all I needed.“
“This place makes me feel like family when I go there, I’ve had the beef tacos and birria tacos here and they were 10/10, nice atmosphere when they turn their fun lights on, pop the dj n kareoke on Thursday n Friday, I have been there both days and had so much fun! Check it out!“
“I recently ordered tamales from a modest spot in a local convenience store and discovered a hidden gem. Despite its unassuming location, the tamales were outstanding, each with a unique and delicious flavor. As a small business owner, I value the genuine effort and quality evident in their food and service. This family-run business may look simple at first glance, but it offers a truly exceptional culinary experience. Highly recommended for an authentic and delightful meal.“
“Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere, even better food, and friendly service. Everything we tried was amazing. The pork belly appetizers were good enough to be a meal on their own, the elote was the best I’ve ever had, and seafood relleno was mind blowing. Don’t forget to try the flan! Not very sweet so all of the flavors stand out.Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing and memorable night out!“
“The Kalua pork taco was my FAVE!! I never had pineapple slaw on a taco, but it was delicious and it made the taco extra juicy! The food came out super quick and they were playing some great music while we ate! Service was pretty average, but no complaints overall!“
“The plátano fritos and pupusa variety is a big plus. They are my go to for catering my family events. They are always on time and package the food in an organized way. The customer service is wonderful and you can tell they are a faith filled family that operate a small business with a lot of teamwork! Thank you for serving the Irving community even through the pandemic.“
“My Husband and I were looking for some good Tacos in the area. Happen to find this family own business and decided to give it a try. Tacos were delicious and Maddie went beyond with my chicken salad that wasn’t on the menu but made as requested. Props to the cooks the chicken was Juicy and well made. My suggestion if the restaurant is tidy the food will be made with same heart. We’ll come back soon and folks you’ll need to try this yourself. ?“
“We came to this place sort of in a whim on our way to the airport. We forgot it was Valentine’s Day when looking for a quick place to eat. Everywhere was packed and we were in a hurry. We got right in, and at the right time because it also filled up in there almost immediately. Our server came to us immediately to greet us, she was so nice. The manager came and introduced himself and came back again with some complimentary tacos since it was our first time there. They were delicious! We loved our meals and will definitely be back!“
“I like there cheesecake, there hospitality is amazing, the place itself is cool and pretty, lots of decoration, there food is amazing, they do seafood better than most seafood restaurants, amazing mix of Mexican taste/food and seafood, and there appetizers are amazing, the price is cheap for the serving sizes.Vegetarian options: They taste amazing, an amazing substituteParking: Easy access, lots of roomKid-friendliness: Amazing for kids, as one myself I can confirm, highly kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, it was barely a process to get in“
“Had a wonderful time with my family. My toddler loves rice and beans and was really into the cheese quesadilla. Restaurant is clean, well managed, and the food is legit. I had the enchilada bandera plate and the mole was my favorite of the three enchiladas.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, clean restaurant, great foodHad a wonderful time with my family. I totally recommend this place it’s amazing they’re customer service is great, great prices, food is just something out of this world. I will definitely be back ?“
“These are some dam good tacos. Drove past this place and I think the palm trees and lights drew me in. Got a quesobarria (I think) and a few streak tacos. Perfection. Easily one of the best tacos I’ve never had. The meat is slightly crispy and full of flavor. The tortillas are perfectly cooked. The cashier even brought the food out to my car and gave me a genuine ‘thanks for stopping by.’ I’ll definitely be here frequently.“
“This was our first experience at the restaurant. We were on our way to Irving Arts Center for a concert and short on time. We arrived just before the dinner rush and service was prompt. Spicy, warm salsa and chips were quickly brought to our table. We chose Chicken Tacos al Carbon and a triple Create Your Own Combo. Our entrées arrive quickly and were plated in a refreshing bistro style! I look forward to trying the Ox Eyes Stacked Enchiladas on our next visit. La comida está buena!“
“A good place to have breakfast or lunch with a delicious Mexican dish.Delicious food, very good service, but the music at such high volume is tiring. One goes to enjoy the food not to listen to music.Parking: A very large parking lot, no problem“
“It's an average restaurant in terms of decor & atmosphere. Older building.Food was good & plentiful. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. Service was great & very friendly. I think my son had a torta, which was huge! I had a couple of sopes, one of which was lengua (tongue) & was my first time tasting it! It was very good!Good solid authentic food!“
“Awsome food, and they actually serve fajita meat. Not no other meat when you ask for fajita . Also they have actual deep-fried crispy tacos. Not no taco taco bell shell. Home maid in house.Parking: Right in front or behindKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“The food was soo good and the hot sauce they have is good I like how they make it right infront of you and ask you want you want in it I like that they are quick with making the food even when there is a lot of people in there they get you in and out pretty quickly I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good burrito or a breakfast burrito 10/10“
“My husband and I did a Taco Hop date where we tried 4 different street taco places. We rated each based on taste, cost, speed, variety, and atmosphere. We then weighted each category, taste being the highest priority, and gave them an overall score out 20.Potosinos Taco Spot scores:Taste-3/5Cost- $2.40 per taco, 4/5Speed- 2 minutes, 5/5Variety- 4/5Atmosphere- 2/5Overall- 14.4/20On a side note, if you want steak tacos definitely go here! The pork was okay, but the steak tacos were excellent!“
“I love going there with my family. I've been going there since I was a kid. The food is always excellent, and Nina will come around to every table to small talk. The food is always hot and delicious. We like to go during dinner time and get warm corn tortillas with we wait for our food.“
“Taco Tuesday was an excellent deal, $2 tacos. Ingredients were delicious, green salsa was just right and the speed of creation was incredible. I went back for a brekky burrito (2 tacos weren’t quite enough thus morning) and was not disappointed. Will definitely by going back.Just remember that it’s inside the Shell shop, not separate.“
“I stopped by this place today for a breakfast taco and ended up taking some green chilaquiles, everything is very delicious from now on it will be my favorite place for breakfast, I hope to try the entire menu, and the girls are very friendly and attentive to what the client asks for, I recommend it.“
“Good taste on chicharron taco and gordita, grease was dripping from the taco al pastor; amazing flavor on chorizo with egg gordita. Menudo bowl was good although meat was a little chewy. Somewhat pricy. $32 for two tacos, 2 gorditas, a menudo and a coffee.“
“We were driving through town looking for a place to eat to then continue our journey. The food was delicious and our waiter was so kind and helped us move quickly as we wanted to get back on the road. He also introduced me to a new food I wasn't familiar with. Delicious! Thanks, Tio Carlos, for being a friendly and tasty place for weary travelers!“
“This spot is in the Valero gas station, but they make very good food. Great bang for your buck as they have large portions. It's pretty authentic as well. I love the burrito here, but expect it to be a little messy when you eat it because it is huge and stuffed full. Takeout only.Parking: At a gas station so not too many spots.“
“I came for Birria tacos & they were actually delicious in comparison to my favorite place (taco vida) but they’re closer to my house so I can’t complain. Only difference is the consume is not included and cost extra…Service is exceptionally kind, I ordered to-go and the lady offered to bring it out to me in my car ! Aguas Frescas are pre made and bottled so I couldn’t mix my preference. But I enjoyed my tamarind jarrito!“
“See this small business on Facebook and I went to go try it and I have to say for this place being where it is in the hood Id never would imagine the tacos would be amazing Im impressed n next time I'm going to get Carne Asada tacos although I wish the tacos were regular size but unfortunately it was mini tacos. But the taste really awesome will go back for sureWheelchair accessibility: Yes going up the the store it has a ramp for wheelchairs“
“hole in the wall but really good. the Agua de sandia was SO refreshing. i ordered 2 barbacoa tacos and hubby ordered an cheese enchilada plate. he liked it as he ate it all. recommendation came off group page of Facebook. order then sit and order bought to you. not good for groups as it is a small place.“
“Love the atmosphere here at The Reserve, food and beverages are on point. Love the salsa and chips! Our waiter Annie went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and was checking on us constantly making sure we were well taken care of! Recommend this place 100%.“
“Pupsas are some of the best ive tried, the service is good most of the time. One time I called them 10 minutes before they closed and they still took my order. They can take a little long to get your food ready but its understandable since their is usually only 1 or 2 people working“
“Needed fajitas for a group of 10, and the nearby El Fenix makes it impossible to complete such an order. I had been to a Fajita Pete's before but never for takeout. Found that ordering was very easy, the staff very accommodating and the food exceptional. Definitely will be my go-to in the future. This location is take out only, but that's what I need most of the time“
“Not only is the service always friendly, but the treats are AMAZING. The most generous shrimp cocktail I’ve indulged in with a light tomato juice with an amazing flavor profile. They have an array of hot sauces to add to your elote. Fresh tortas. Delicious fruits!“
“Located inside the Irving bazaar, this place makes authentic mexican food. Everything is hand made to order. Their menudo, pozole and gorditas are good. They have all types of fillings. Everyone knows this is a good spot to get cheap lunch on this side of irving. They do to go as well. Service is slow sometimes, but they do make everything from scratch.TIP: the bazaar has no air condition so in the summer do not eat in. It gets super hot with the food stalls and the heat of summer.“
“Delicious food! friendly staff! If you haven't tried it I strongly recommend it. It's a nice quiet and very clean place to enjoy a meal or food to go. The food is like having a home cooked meal. Did I mention the food is delicious. Thank you Steve and your great staff and service.“
“Got the tacos with tortilla hechas a mano. The tortillas was amazing but the meat was on the less side than other taco places and wayyy too much cilantro. Had asada and pastor which were really good. "Guacamole" salsa was not spicy at all. I'll come back and try other options.“
“100% recommend! Service was amazing, Spanish speaking staff, but some do speak speak English! Food was amazing, try the burrito! Small space, recommend taking the food to go! Also it’s in a gas station! They don’t offer drinks, but you can go next door to buy one! 10/10 recommend!“
“Big parking area. I was greeted by a warm friendly smile from Cristina! She also waited on us. In a snap she brought all our requests , without hesitations and still smiling. She was sweeping restocking working, while four coworkers mingled at the bar. Kitchen was the area where all meet. I can hear everything they said, even when someone said to another coworker to shut up. Music was average. Food tasty delivered hot, again thanks to Cristina! Great job.“
“They have always treated me very well, yesterday I went and I didn't like the fact that the employees were coughing on the dough and they didn't even have a mouth cover, I think it's not hygienic, they should be more careful.“
“Don't let the fact that it's in the back of a convenience store deter you from coming to eat amazingly delicious food. Gorditas were our favorite (the trompo ones). Not that the tacos and pupusas were bad but just not as wonderful as the Gorditas. They have two homemade salsas they are both equally great (and red and green). Our meal was served with a grilled seranno which was a nice touch. They have a couple of tables with chairs and we ate in but alot of people got food to go while we were there. We live in South Irving but I am willing to make this drive for A+ food a friendly service.“
“We googled this place trying to find somewhere to have a quick bite when we were in the area. It's not really located near anything and the area is a little sketchy but when we read the reviews we knew we had to give it a try. We trusted the reviews and went ahead and stopped by. We were very pleased with the service and the food was delicious. The area is not that large inside but we were a group of around 10 people and they accommodated us with no problem. It was not busy during the time that we went. They had music playing and a TV on. They have a very simple setup inside the dining area. Looks like you can order to go as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.“
“After work, stopped by for those delicious tacos and burritos .. amazing service... lots of school kids in there, but the Mgr(I think).... at the front was totally awesome. He had everyone in and out in very quick timing.... VERY IMPRESSIVE AND FANTASTIC. The TACO BELL@Shady Grove and MacArthur--Irving, TX. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE“
“My husband and I had the Sunday brunch @ Via Real last Sunday with my parents and it was a great experience. I've been here about 10 times so far and it never disappoints. Too bad I couldn't partake in their endless mimosas/poinsettias due to pregnancy but I still enjoyed the food and service. They have a great selection to choose from and the quality is equally great.“
