“We drove all the way across Dallas just to eat here. We had had a Cantina Laredo and home until COVID. It was our go to place, especially when family or friends came to town. We were greeted like old friends and offered menu suggestions. We had favorite plates and ordered those. We were not disappointed, the meal was amazing. I wish I was taking Cantina Laredo home with me. Maybe they'll try again. If not we'll have to come back to Dallas, ohwell.“
“I ate at the Downtown Carrollton location last week. I discovered that there was a closer location to me in Addison. I decided to compare the two. I ordered the Papos lunch plate again. It was right on with the flavors. The chips and salsa were perfect! The beef taco was excellent! The General Manager, Harry, was so friendly and checked on me several times during my meal. He had greeted me at the door and was completely "hands-on." I was so impressed! “What can I say? It is a chain but I love the food. The chicken fajitas are awesome. The corn tortillas are good. The sopapillas are way too good.This place is super family friendly. “I haven't tried every single burrito in Carrollton... but gosh, these have got to be the best. Coming from a vegetarian perspective, this place is awesome. I've only ever ordered burritos. The beans are devious, flavorful, and Truly vegetarian; the owner makes sure to mention that there is no animal fat every time I order. He really cares about the food he puts out, he is proud to serve what he serves, and it shows. His food is heartfelt. I don't even live in the area anymore; I live an hour away, but circumstances provide that I am in the area every once in a while and when it's lunchtime, as long as I don't wait too long and he is still open, it's no question where my lunch is going to be.“
“4/14 - Revisited after a brief hiatus. Sat outside as the bar was way too cold. Service has improved, and Chloe was perfect.How in the heck can you be out of refried beans? I know it's a pandemic...but damn! I don't want double rice. Fun frozen drinks and fresh chips wheen you visit. Hatch chile season is my favorite time to go.“

“The bartender was great. The sad part was that they were making him play the part of host, waiter, bartender and busboy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was running into the back to cook the food. He’s a busy man. Are they forcing him to do all this to save money? Or is there a pile of bodies in the back so he can maximize his tips? I mean… what the heck?“
“Our waitress Helijai was so kind and very helpful any questions we had she answered quickly and was very confident with her response. She was eager to tell us about some of the dishes we had and the location having a club atmosphere on Saturdays. The food was amazing I had Gloria’s Super Special and I would 11/10 recommend I also loved that right as we sat down the chips and dips were immediately placed with us. This place made a very good first impression! Everyone was extremely prompt and I never had to ask or wait for anything!“
