I am glad that they are following CDC Guidelines for Covid-19 very strictly.Employees are told to track their body temperature & maintain personal hygiene throughout the shift. “Grandy's is pure nostalgia for me. I grew up in Dallas when there were Grandy's restaurants all over the place, so it was great to stop in again. I ordered the chicken-fried steak with brown gravy, and it tasted just like I remembered. The sides were good, the sweet Southern comfort food hit the spot, and the meal brought back a lot of great memories.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. You also can't beat the value—I paid around $10.50 for a chicken-fried steak meal with sides and a drink, which is hard to find these days. “The sandwiches were good but it would have been really nice to have some unprocessed meat. Some actual roast beef, roast turkey or something else that wasn't processed even if it was an extra cost. We had two sandwiches and for some reason they are quite bland. They need some flavored sauces or something to go on it to add a little kick. The ambiance has a retro feel and I love how they have in the bottle soft drinks like orange crush. It's great nostalgia.“

“I came to buy a sandwich and arrived a little to quick to curbside. Someone came out to my vehicle and told me that they had just dropped the chicken and that it would be 5 min. Thats some awesome customer service. They didn't have to let me know but it appreciated. The whataburger by my house will make you wait in your car for 30 min before coming to tell you that a certain item orders is out of stock lol“

“I placed a catering order (boxed lunch) for a training session at work, and was thoroughly impressed. From ordering online to pickup everything was great. The order was ready on time and the manager walked the order to my car. The order was even packaged in very nice chick fil A catering bags which kept the 38 boxes lunch order organized and warm. The meal was nice and warm when I arrived back to work which was a 15 min drive. Each boxed meal had a sandwich, bag of chips and a cookie. As well as mayo, mustard, small plate, napkins and a knife. the fine details were great!

The only thing I would recommend is to allow more sauces per meal. The website only allows for 1 sauce per meal which is not enough. Other than that it was fantastic and a hit with the work team.“
