Based on the reviews, Shake Shack has a clean store with friendly and helpful associates. The food is good, and one reviewer said it is the best veggie burger they ever had. They also offer a puppy custard for dogs. However, the burger left a lot to be desired, as it was barely in the bun and needed to be reassembled. Some customers received wilted lettuce for the high amount charged for a burger with no fries. Service can be inconsistent; sometimes the staff constantly check to see if you need anything, but other times it took too long for the folks working to acknowledge a customer. The staff including Stephen and a co-manager are amongst the nicest people in fast food. Stephen explained the menu and gave recommendations, and another team member stopped by to ask how the food was tasting. The management made a great decision with the shift manager.
