“Zalat was recently listed in D Magazine as one of the best takeout pizzas in Dallas and I would wholeheartedly agree. I think it is fun to have more than one place to go for takeout pizza and that is so easy to do with so many places to choose from. Zalat's pizza is perfect for picking up and taking home or to your hotel room or to a local park picnic table and ENJOYING! We had ours a little cooled and it was superb. This was our first time at Zalat so we have not tried many of the combinations. We chose the Supreme Veggie and the Simple Basil. Both were outstanding but the combination of the Simple Basil (marinara, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and FRESH basil) was very memorable. You can smell the basil and see that it is freshly torn as you take each bit (YUMMO). I would definitely get either of those flavors again......but why not make your way through the menu? I would like to try the Pho-Drizzle inspired by the Vietnamese soup (YUM!!!) or the Elote inspired by the delicous Mexican street corn. Zalat also has all of the more tradition topping combinations as well. The service was very friendly and timely. The inside of the takeout restaurant was very clean and I enjoyed the quirky messages on the pizza box (even on the bottom of the box). What I found interesting on the box and there was signage in the store indicating that they offer a Reaper Roulette and ask you to take the reaper challenge. For Reaper Roulette, the staff make one of the slices INSANELY hot and you do not know which slice it is. Hey, that sounds fun to me. May do that next time!We would definitely return!“
“Local favorite that has been around for 50+ years, and for good reason. The food is very good, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and fun. That said, if you're looking for a quiet spot, Angelo's is probably not for you. But if you want somewhere to chill with friends or a place to celebrate a life event, then you'll be happy. I've tried several dishes and all were very good...maybe not the best I've ever had, but satisfying and delicious - well worth the trip.“

It was going horrible until a kind gentleman by the name of yahya stood up against them and fought all of them by hand. He knocked them all out one by one and even returned my money. The pastor was the winner, hands down. The beef was tasty, but had a little too much gristle. Their salsas were good!!My friends tried the pizza by the slice and Italian entrees. The verdict was—tasty pizza. And tasty calzone. The calzone was plate big! The ziti and primavera were also good. The serving were plentiful and came with salads and bread knots. “I am sad to see this place closing soon on 12/15/23. This is def one of my fave restaurants on the island. Love their pasta here! My absolute faves are their spicy ground pork with eggplant pasta and bacon and mushroom pasta with tomato sauce. This place is very nostalgic to me because I have been a fan and loyal customer since they was on Kapiolani Blvd. I will miss this place! “Our previous order was not up to par. Two of the three pizza's barely had any toppings. My husband and I were very disappointed as this location has always been great. I posted my review and a picture of one of the pizza's. The company quickly reached out to my husband to make it right and boy did they!!! Our replacement order....OMG...they must have made it with love because it was so Delicious,...lol...I'm salivating just thinking about the deliciousness and the toppings were definitely APLENTY. “I was so pleasantly surprised at how quickly I had my order. I came in for emergency pizzas for my niece's birthday party. I purchased 6 Large pizzas and these guys manage to get them out in less than 15 minutes. I was so happy. I'm sure my niece's guests were happy.Only negative I have is the price point. “Had delivery which was delivered within the time given when we placed the order. First time to try the wings and pizzoli. Wings with garlic Parmesan sauce were meaty, cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My husband loved the pepperoni and sausage pizzoli, it was large, filled with meats and cheese. We’ve been getting pizza from them for years and it’s worth a try if you haven’t had it yet. They are a little slow on delivery, but that’s most likely to not having a fleet of drivers so be patient, the end result is worth the wait in my opinion.“
“My husband placed an order here & unfortunately the DoorDash person lied and stole our food ! I called and spoke to the nice lady over the phone, she apologized for the situation and stated she could remake the items for us and have them sent back out, I requested to pick them up since I’m no longer trusting , she agreed .
