“Stopped by The Pelican House for some Louisiana Cajun flavor and it did not disappoint! I ordered the grilled seafood platter,super flavorful and cooked just right. You can really taste the seasoning in every bite. I also tried the peach cobbler, and it was spot on. Perfect balance of breading and peachesn not too heavy, not too sweet. Shoutout to Louis, the owner, for the great conversation and sharing some helpful advice about opening a restaurant. That personal touch made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!“

“Our first time here and super impressed. Our server, Jorge, went above and beyond with his friendly yet professional service. He ensures you're ordering what you mean to. The chicken fried lobster appetizer was PHENOMENAL!!! 🙌 I wish I got a pic of it but I devoured it too quickly. 🤭 The NY strip was tasty, even better with the Bone Marrow butter to go on top. “I have to change my review, this place used to be a great spot to just sit with friends and watch sports, then they hired a new bartender named Danny from Miami. This guy is a joke! He takes forever to make drinks bc he is non stop talking to other people, and forgets orders.
He vapes behind the bar when people are eating. I told the manager and nothing was done. Breaks glass that’s landed near my drink and I had a minor cut. Instead of doing anything about it I got one replaced drink.
When they actually see what this guy is doing behind the bar we might come back!
We now go across the street to juicy crab! Way better bartenders and no vapes while people are eating literally feet away. Do better“

“I was in Dallas on business, staying at the Westin a few blocks away. It was my last night, I was tired, had an early flight in the morning, and just wanted a quick meal to take back to the room. A quick search showed this fried catfish spot nearby… so yeah, say less. I walked in expecting a basic neighborhood carry-out, but instead was greeted with some of the best service I’ve had in a while which was totally unexpected. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had good music playing. It was a good vibe so decided to eat in at the bar. I didn’t catch her name but the bartender was so nice and kindly walked me through the menu. I ordered a glass of wine and the 2-piece fillet basket. Good Lord, that fish was HOT and delicious! And when I say “fillet,” I mean a full piece of fish not broken up little scraps. Two big pieces were definitely more than enough, but it was so good I ate every bite. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip and will be telling my Dallas office this is the spot! Thanks for the great experience and wishing you all the best in your new location!“

The detail in the decor and table settings along with the low lighting, music and welcoming atmosphere make for the perfect experience. And the food is worth it’s weight in gold. Never in my life have I dined somewhere where the chef managed to perfect the taste, texture and temperature of every single menu item. And we’ve dined all over the country from Alaska to here. The warm bread and garlic butter before your meal is just a small insight into the talent that is in this kitchen. We chose the $70 menu and added the lobster bisque. The bisque, escargot, caviar, bone out prime rib, beef Wellington, crème brûlée, and red velvet cake are out of this world. The Au gratin potatoes with the Wellington melt in your mouth. Even the baked potato with the prime rib came with your choice to top with real cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, fresh bacon and butter cubes and was cooked to perfection as well. My husband and I both ordered an old fashioned to drink and coming from an experienced bartender, those were made perfectly as well. They’re open every night of the week and it’s a good thing we don’t live closer cause we’d be here weekly!“

“Had the pleasure of having brunch at Finch with one of my girlfriends. My first order, the avocado toast with an egg on top, unfortunately wasn't a hit—the presentation left a lot to be desired. However, after speaking with the manager, Autumn, who was absolutely amazing, she quickly made it right and suggested the shrimp and grits with blackened shrimp.

“My family and I stopped by Royal Fried Seafood and Grill when we were in Cedar Hill for a family reunion. The service was 10/10 and the food was absolutely amazing. My 7 year old son absolutely said this was the best food we had the entire trip, and though we’re foodies, my husband and I agreed! We’re already craving it again now that we’re back in Kansas! “We were excited to try a new Mexican seafood-forward restaurant. Overall it was good but the service needs improvement. In terms of food, I wanted to try the chocolate clams - we had a seasonal strawberry and a spicy vinegar flavor. The spicy one was definitely better and maybe we just don't like raw clams. They were very different from the flavor of raw oysters. The aguachile was amazing and the sauce was light and very spicy which we liked. The octopus was okay, it was a bit chewy and the sauce was underwhelming. For entrees, we had the red snapper and wagyu, both were excellent and had unique flavors. The strawberry dessert (pastel cacahuazintle) was light and had a subtle polenta flavor which we enjoyed. The margarita and old fashioned were both very tasty although very small. They have very limited non-alcoholic drinks although my partner enjoyed the jamaica tea. On a Friday night, they were out of both oat and regular milk which was strange, so they couldn't make a latte.

Overall, there are some unique dishes here, but at this price point the service needs improvement. I had to ask for water a few times. The waiter and food runners didn't seem to notice our glasses were empty on multiple occasions. It also felt like they were trying upsell because we were offered still or sparkling water, but not tap, which we had to ask for.“
