“Traveled to TX for the eclipse and heard about Razzoos which we don’t have in Florida. Let me tell you, that fried gator was as good as back home! I’m still thinking about it. The jalapeño chicken was very good and I wasn’t going to get dessert but I’d never heard of peach pecan bread pudding so I had to get it. I don’t know what the dark rum sauce was but it was so tasty you have to get extra! Hannah was a great bartender I had the new gator Rita it was like a top shelf strawberry peach margarita and Wanda was so kind to check on how my experience was. I had the Catfish Filet Basket which had two huge filets, fries and cole slaw. My buddy had the fish tacos which he allowed me to sample. Both were really good. Just look at the size of those filets( see photo)! We also had the frog legs which were tasty. Bring an appetite when you go to Joe's. We went on a Sunday after church and just beat the rush. “Thank you for showing up in the Trophy Club Neighborhood at Aloft by Marriott. I tried Cousins Maine Lobster for the first time in March. I immediately proceeded to download the app so I could stalk the truck, earn points, and order on the go. I went for the soup and roll combo which was perfection. The clam chowder is chunky and creamy which I love. The lobster bisque has a huge chunk of lobster in it and it's incredible. They have a shaker of old bay on the condiments section of the truck and I think the bisque could use a little kick. If I get it home before I eat it all I add slap yo mamma instead. Just a personal preference. Onto the Connecticut roll. This one is on a New England roll which is way different from a French roll it's soft and grill with butter so the roll by itself is sweet and amazing but throw a handful of warm butter lobster meat in there and wow! Every bite is heaven. The crew working the truck were super helpful and answered and questions. I cannot wait to try something new next time but I cannot imagine loving the food more than this first experience. Just FYI these are not items you are going to want to share make everyone get their own lol.“
