We had not been to Half Shells in a while and man, have we missed out. Under new ownership, the interior has been upgraded and the food, was simply amazing. First, my buddy ordered a martini and it was exceptional. Big cold glass expertly executed. We had the fried calamari that came with two sauces - an aioli and a sweet and sour sauce, which was really nice.

Absolutely amazing and delicious. Red beans and rice clam chowder the most awesome crab cake and of course those mermaid oysters. All the staff are wonderfully polite especially Michelle. Thanks Half Shells for letting me celebrate my birthday on this particular visit. We'll see you again soon.
AMAZING! So accommodating for people who are gluten free! Our waitress was so wonderful and helpful! New favorite place to visit while in Dallas!
