“Brought me the wrong food, so my area on the table ended up covered in water from the condensation of the crawfish platter. However, when my correct order arrived, the Cajun crawfish and shrimp tacos none of that mattered anymore. They were very good.“
“One of favorite spots. Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices by comparison. Their variety is exceptional. The food quality is always good. Don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations or suggestions. There spice level is true to slightly hotter than others.“
“we have a group of about 8 who dine out together regularly. we used to go to another restaurant in Allen until we discovered Salsa! The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. We go at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad meal. The chicken enchiladas and quesabirria tacos are winners! The warm black bean dip is the bomb.“
“We dined here last night and had such a great experience. I wish I had pics but we were busy enjoying ? Everything was hot & fresh and delicious. We had the Bang Bang shrimp, Corn chowder (I fell in love with that soup) , the Cod Imperial (soooo good) Jasmine rice (omg) , broccoli (nice & soft with garlic butter). The pomegranate martini was delish as well. Our waiter rocked! So attentive, professional & friendly. This is my kind of dining experience : great food , service & atmosphere“
“If you are looking for East coast (NYC) style Chinese food, then your search ends here because this is the place to get it. The only thing missing is the homemade iced tea but besides that, everything else is the same. The food is awesome and made to order!Parking: Convenient.“
“Came in yesterday to treat myself, the restaurant was a vibe and the service was great! Food was pretty good overall, the crawfish was a little over boiled. No real complaints at all, the only thing I will say is that if you’re from Louisiana looking for something that tastes like home this probably will not hit the spot for you.“
“I went to have high tea for my birthday and I'm so glad I did! It was delicious and felt like you were in Europe rather than Texas. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't say this is kid friendly. It's a somewhat upscale restaurant and there's not really kid food available. Perfect for date night without the kids though.“
“The service again was average. Forgot drinks and slow with water refills. We have been to this Eddie Vs 6-7 times since they have opened in Plano. The first 4-5 times EvERYTHING was phenomenal but the last 2 visits there has been serious decline in service. Love this place and the downtown location as well and hope they get it back on track“
“I definitely wasn’t expecting much at first, but this superseded all my expectations. While this kind of restaurant would be considered “fast food” back in Japan, the quality of the food my wife and I got was so much better.I am also happy that the (I assume) owner / manager spoke Japanese to myself and my wife (she’s from Tokyo). This went over very well with both of us, and we will certainly be back to frequent this place.“
“Great spot for seafood lovers as you can buy fresh seafood from a little market set up or enjoy it being cooked in delicious creations by the chef. Nice and relaxing environment with attentive service. They have happy hours on weekdays, which I have to come back to enjoy.“
“This spot is CUTE! Definitely good for a girls get together or a date night. The tacos were very filling even for 2 tacos! I recommend the Carne Asada taco for sure, and the spicy chicken taco. Both meats were marinated overnight and it tasted like it was marinated for a week! Juicy, tasty and filling, that’s all I ask for in a taco haha. Our waiter was awesome and I would recommend this place to anyone“
“The food was fantastic but Sam our waitress elevated the dining experience to a new level. She was attentive but not pushy. She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“
“Thank you for a perfect meal and great service tonight! The fried catfish is absolutely perfect. Great flavor and so crispy! I almost got the special which also sounded so good! My husband had fish and chips and left nothing on the plate. I recommend everyone go to Anayas!“
“Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday and the food and service did not disappoint. We ordered tempura udon, a spicy pork bento box, a roll over roll, and a tempura roll. The portions were huge and the food tasted great! Definitely worth the price (especially lunch specials). Our server even stopped by and gave us two items on the house. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good Japanese food in Plano.“
“I ordered through Uber Eats the Anaya"s Tropical Salad and Clam Chowder, and both were absolutely delicious!!! Everything about the salad was so fresh and so good. The Clam Chowder was the best I have ever had, you can tell it was definitely made from scratch, as the clams were so tender and fresh, and the vegetables rounded out the amazing flavors of this chowder“
“Fire. I was craving fried shrimp and this place hit the spot. The shrimp was crispy and hot. The breading was thin and light. But best of all it was WELL SEASONED. Clearly this was marinating in something flavorful. I can't wait to come back and bring the rest of my family.“
“We live in Arlington Texas, a 55 minutes drive on the tollway; but since the first day a discovered this nice place back in 2011 when I used to work in Plano Texas, I don’t regret the drive to come to Fish Shack at all. The owner is super nice and attentive to me an my family, the food is always fresh and tasty, the cookers in the kitchen are always friendly and attentive every time I request for something, I appreciate the cookers in the kitchen who are the ones that make this place special, the owner that is super nice all the time and the entire team at Fish Shack, I definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers out there, don’t pay much attention to bad reviews here go and experience for yourself and you’ll see you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Fish Shack!“
“Worth every penny, except for the following...Caesar Salad (don't waste your money), King Crab (not worth the little amount you get) ask the food was excellent but some things just aren't worth spending on.The fried Oysters were excellent ? ?.“
“The food here was outstanding and the service was even better with our waitress Erin, she was extremely nice and patient. She returned my daughter's meal when it didn't please her. I would definitely recommend coming here. Will be returning soon!!Dietary restrictions: We weren't able to eat any dairy products and our waitress Erin, was glad to help us.“
“This place was amazing. We were very hungry and gave this a try. We were greeted and seated, the waitress was very nice. When they brought out our food it was better than expected. Everything was huge and big serving sizes we couldn't finish all of it. Very impressed and highly recommend.“
“The difference in dining these days is summed up in one word: service. In DFW, there are a multitude of good restaurants. Places with good food and a solid selection of wines with enough variety and quality to solve most dining requirements. Last night, we were in downtown for Morton's for example. Great name and very good dinner.....Tonight, we visited Nelson's. Dollar for dollar; dish for dish; service for service... we prefer Nelson's.Bryan and his team, although running short-handed, made it a perfect evening. His selection of Scotch is, for my taste, perfect! The wine list, though short, is full of tremendous options. (We are fond of Washington wines and thus were tickled to see the 9 Hats as on option!) Since they were running bit short staffed, we took time at the bar for a wine before getting seated. Well laid out and fun. When we were seated, Anna took care of us in every way imaginable. He knowledge of the menu was impeccable as were her suggestions for dinner. The deviled eggs are a great mixture of sweet and savory. The bacon wrapped shrimp are flavorful and dynamic. The crab cakes were cooked to crusty perfection. The 44 Farms ribeye exceeded my expectations and the spring mix salad was FANTASTIC! The serrano vinaigrette is worth the trip. My wife's red snapper was superlative.Quit overthinking it. Go. Eat. Enjoy.“
“I have had 5 take-out orders in the last 4 weeks. Owners and staff are friendly and efficient. Here is the tale of the tape: Excellent (5 stars): Peking duck, Chinese Mushroom with Bob Choy, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Salt & Pepper Squid, Barbecue Pork, Roast Duck, Peking Style Pork Chop, Wonton Soup. Good (3 to 4 stars): Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu...“
“I’m from New Orleans and hate that there aren’t any good boiled crawfish places in Dallas. I’ve tried them all and they just boil them in water and sprinkle seasoning on top. Not Twisted Tails, though! The crawfish here continues to be the best in town. The right spiciness, boiled in the seasoning (not sprinkled on top), and a great atmosphere. Jake in the back cooked up some perfect crawfish for us today. Also have to add that this is our go to for live crawfish. Cleanest crawfish you can find in DFW. Always a good price and great size. I’ll keep coming back.“
“First time at this restaurant and had a great experience!Jay was our waiter and was friendly, attentive, funny, and fun. He’s amazingThe food was always great! They have soo Many options on their menu also. Jay gave great recommendations.Definitely tied for my favorite Italian restaurant right now!“
“We were fortunate to celebrate our first anniversary dinner recently. Very nice, pleasant ambiance. Ron took care of us, wonderful service, most attentive, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed cocktails and wine. Enjoyed a calamari appetizer, each ordered a steak. Everything was delicious.“
“The scallops were perfectly cooked. Need I say more? The staff were friendly and efficient, they were great about my allergies to gluten and dairy, and the chef came out to say hello. I had a view into the kitchen - it was clean and the many staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. Again, the food was great and we enjoyed a delicious meal. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu and will accommodate dairy allergies too!“
“I'll start with the food, though the service outshines it, the best genuine Mexican food I've enjoyed since I left SoCal by far, now the service was all smiles and also genuine. Small little place, just made it cozy. I can see growth here.Parking: It's in a small business area near my church, Christ Fellowship onOrchid and Eldorado.Kid-friendliness: Kid's had a wonderful time with kid friendly options. A lot of laughsWheelchair accessibility: My daughter uses a wheelchair and we had no difficulty at all.“
“A Hidden Gem! If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. The level of service, the speed, the attention to detail, the way the plates were presented outstanding. Congratulations. Delicious food and we got personally served by the owner who was kind enough to educate us on the history of every dish.“
“We've been here several years ago when it was Jin. This was the first time since then. We came for lunch, and opted for AYCE ($19.99/person). For this price, the selection of meats and side dishes were great. We ordered LA Galbi, Nubiani, and Chadolbagiand from the menu and also picked several other meats and side dishes from the buffet. They were all great. They also had seaweed soup and beef & daikon radish soup, and they were delicious as well. Their dessert drink was way too sweet for us. I loved they had icecream for dessert and it was refreshing and was a nice taste change. For $20, I think it well worth it and I'd definitely come back.“
“Exceptional dining experience! I opted for the fried catfish and shrimp combo, accompanied by cheesy grits and fries. The catfish fillet was generously sized and perfectly coated in cornmeal batter. As a first-timer, my waitress Jessica kindly offered samples, and the fried oyster nacho stood out. I also indulged in the flavorful gumbo, crab bisque, clam chowder, and roasted jalapeno soup--all were great. There were varied fish specials on the blackboard menu that looked incredible. Impeccable service added to the enjoyment; Jessica was attentive and wonderfully friendly. I will definitely be back!“
“Very yummy ramen!! Very fresh and hot! Several different types of ramen, rice dishes, and udon noddle dishes. We had the fried shrimp and vegetarian Gyoza for apps. Both was good! Waiters were very friendly and patient with us since this was our first time there. They also checked on us several times which was nice. They gave us additional sauces and condiments for our ramen. Also additional items to add as sides or in your ramen. We will definitely visit this place again.“
“This place is amazing and have authentic North Indian food. This is hidden gem in Garland and perhaps the best North indian food in frisco, Plano and Richardson area. The food we like is Manchurian veg momos, paneer kadai and dal Makhni.Owner is really kind and was asking food feedback. Surely go to place“
“We have been here a few time now. So far we have enjoyed all of the food. We personally have focused more on the seafood like fish tacos, ceviche, and augachilies. Each has been very good, the tortilla chips that come with certains dishes are top notch and not the super thin ones you get at other places. The place itself, not much to say beyond it is a comfortable place to go for a quick meal. The ladies working there have always been very friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep going back. My only wish is we had started coming here sooner.“
“Terrific seafood eatery! They specialize in third coast cuisine ( that includes the Gulf Coast). The menu is full of delicious combinations.Started with appetizers especially the boudin balls drizzled with sauce piquant.Main course was fish and chips , dirty rice, and cole slaw. The cod was prepared perfectly and tasty.Second Main course was grilled shrimp with crawfish etouffee over dirty rice.Fried okra as a side.Happy Hour runs 2pm to 6pm M-FThe separate HH menu is great for light eating. Our waiter , Romeo, made sure our dining experience was top notch.Jen , the manager, was gracious and caring. This team has created a restaurant that begs your return. The desserts compliment your meal. The atmosphere and staff are unmatched.I highly recommend adding this to your go to seafood preferences.“
“Absolutely LOVE this place! The service is amazing and feels like family, the food is phenomenal and reasonably priced! They know us by name for how long we have been coming. Cesar salad with chicken is hands down something I crave now. I would highly recommend this location!!“
“* updated review* changed to 5 stars -- I came back tonight and had a wonderful dining experience. I sat at the bar again and the service was excellent. My bib salad was really good and the steak was perfectly prepared at a medium rare. Happy I came back, it was worth it for sure. ///// The bartender tonight was a Rockstar! She was by herself and handled all the restaurant drinks and took care of everyone sitting at the bar. The arugula & black fig salad is really good the steak frites was really good too. Gave 4 stars because they definitely need another bartender for a Saturday night. I will be back.“
“First time here for lunch with my sister and niece. We were hungry from marathon shopping and decided we needed some Thai food. The service was great and they were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant enough. The restaurant is small and cozy. The menu has a huge variety of dishes although many of them are quite similar. Our food was served quickly and came out nice and hot. The food itself, however, was pretty bland and lacked much of a flavor profile. I was surprised by this. My sister liked her food (shrimp) but said that the shrimp was a little overcooked. She loved her Thai Tea! My niece who is vegan enjoyed her vegetables, rice and tofu. I had the beef, vegetables and rice and was just not impressed. It was bland, the beef was tough and the veggies needed more cooking time. Rice was okay. I felt the prices were too high for what we got. If the food had been excellent, I would have been okay with the high prices. I still feel like this was a decent 4 star overall experience based on the nice people who work there and the excellent service we received.Dietary restrictions: Nice vegan options.“
“This place is THE Italian restaurant in the area that has an unassuming exterior but food and service is outstanding. The staff are very polite and responsive without being pesty. For us, it was the perfect amount of attention needed. The food is awesome! We set as a goal to try everything on the well-rounded menu. We got turned onto Verona by a neighbor who bought us a take-out meal and was blown away with how well packaged it was. Many thanks for continued great service and terrific food.“
“Call ahead and ask if they have fresh crawfish, choose your spice level, it gets messy!Only reason for one less star is difficulty ordering more drinks and food after your initial order. When wearing gloves and dealing with a messy meal, it would be awesome to have wait staff come around and ask if you need anything else, or more beverages. Most of the time you have to wave them down or catch them as they bring others food out, or go back up to the bar.Great place to take family or friends, inexpensive and lots of choices. They also make a great michelada w/ tajin. They play loud country music most all the time, also i believe it’s Latino owned and most everyone speaks English and Spanish. Fun and upbeat atmosphere.“
“Family had lunch here to celebrate my granddaughter's 12th birthday. The food was very good, I had Dama Bianca, chicken with sauteed mushrooms, gluten free pasta and Alfredo sauce. It was absolutely delicious! We had an assortment of appetizers that were very good. My whole family enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is typical Italian restaurant, nothing remarkable. Our waitress was rather quiet but very efficient. The only thing I didn't like was the cannoli, rather than having a nice blend of sweetened ricotta cheese it was more of a gooey over sweet sticky cream of some sort. Having had the real things in Italy it was a bit of a disappointment. Americans put too much sugar in their sweets anyway.“
“Love fish n tails, i've been coming here for years, it's my local go to. Food is great, bar drinks is great. The staff is amazing! always go above and beyond... the bartender who goes by "JJ" is always so great and very creative with his bar drinks... if you live in wylie come to fish n tails and ask for him... worth it!“
“I had the Chicken Parmigiana while my husband had the lasagna. They were excellent! The tomato sauce was not tangy, but full of flavor.I normally don’t like the spice mix in the olive oil to use with the bread, but Carrabba’s has a great seasoning mixture. The music was in the background as it should be and was not annoying. We could talk without raising our voices. The waiter took good care of us. We left happy and very full.“
“The sea food is delicious I got the platter and it was great! The oysters also great freshly shucked. I will say someone else I was with got the chicken po boy and it was so thin and someone else got the chicken strips and they were pretty dry. But this is a sea food restaurant and they do a great job at that.“
“Overall, I liked it. Prices were fair, atmosphere was nice, and service was good. The food was good, just not exceptional. I also bit into two kalamata olives that weren't properly pitted and nearly cracked my tooth. On the flopside, the jumbo prawns were amazing. So, it was just a little hit or miss with the menu.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: YesParking: Huge lot shared by the businesses inside the area development.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.“
“Excellent taco! Taste authentic! We decided to try their taco today while waiting for our kid in his musical session. We did not know what to expect since you cannot really see through the restaurant from outside. When walking in, we can feel so many eyes were on us because we are definitely like foreigners visiting their territory, and that was when we knew we came to the right place, and the food is going to be great! And it was! The food was delicious and the drink was amazing! And the price is reasonable!“
“We love going here to chill out and listen to some tunes. The water creates a peaceful environment. The staff is attentive, friendly, and polite. The bathroom is always clean even though it's located in an area where many people frequent. The food is okay, and the drinks are strong. Megan The bartender is friendly and aware when anyone needs a new drink. I would recommend this place. It is always nice to see the children feed the fish, ducks, and turtles in the water as well. The pics are of an amazing singer, Scott Sean White. We fell in love with him when we heard him.“
“We ate at The Saltgrass Steakhouse last night. 3 of us had steak, my wife had the Salmon. I had the Brussels sprouts with my Ribeye and they were very flavorful. It was all delicious. Their special bread was a big hit, and the fried mushrooms appetizer were good too. Oh I had the Blue Cheese butter on my steak, added good flavor. It’s not a cheap night out for 4 people, but the food quality is a good value. It was my son’s birthday dinner, so had to splurge a little.“
“I would like to share my experience hoping this issue will get fixed. The food like always is Amazing, but the employees on the other hand are not. You sit with a pile of dirty dishes un fornt of you while your there. It's like the server or busser forgets you're there!! As soon as you come in you are greeted with a unhappy attitude of a person. She wears glasses and is so rude.“
“We recently took our family to Andreas Steakhouse in Allen, and while the menu might be a bit more geared towards adults, it was a great experience overall. I had a fantastic ribeye, and my wife raved about the scallops. The lobster mac and cheese was a hit with our girls and our son enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The service was top-notch, exactly what you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. Just a heads up that they do have a dress code, and there's valet parking for the front spots which we weren't quite expecting. Overall, it's a perfect place for a nice date night, but would probably work best for older kids or those with more adventurous palates. We'll definitely be back for a special occasion!“
