Exceptional dining experience! I opted for the fried catfish and shrimp combo, accompanied by cheesy grits and fries. The catfish fillet was generously sized and perfectly coated in cornmeal batter. As a first-timer, my waitress Jessica kindly offered samples, and the fried oyster nacho stood out. I also indulged in the flavorful gumbo, crab bisque, clam chowder, and roasted jalapeno soup--all were great. It was my first time visiting the FCG, so I was excited to try it after reading the great reviews. I went in around 3pm, so I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour had just started. I asked for a happy hour menu and ordered a drink, some chargrilled oysters, and shrimp nachos. Everything we have tried has been excellent. I particularly love the lobster bisque, and the lobster and shrimp grilled cheese is the ultimate comfort food. We've tried a few specials which have all been great. Jessica has been our server for our two recent visits. She is absolutely fantastic! Everything got to our table in a timely manner and was exactly as we ordered it. Our drinks were never empty. We will absolutely be back.
