“**COFFEE NERD ALERT** This place knows what it’s doing! Not your average coffee and donuts shop AT ALL. I got a pour over and a cappuccino. Both were very clean, flavorful, and much more complex than the average fare (*cough* Starbs). The word that comes to mind is “balanced.” Not too acidic, not watery, and none of that stale coffee aftertaste. A very enjoyable pour! (And they have multiple options to choose from - always a plus!)BUT THEN…there are the kolaches. Who doesn’t love a good kolache? Well, aren’t your normal kolaches. I got a jalapeño kolache and it was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. But the FIRST thing you notice is how light the dough is. This isn’t one of those thick kolaches where you eat one and feel like you have to become gluten free. For a week. Once again, the key word here is balanced. Also, I lied. I got 2 (HAD to go back for seconds!)But what is a donut shop without the donuts? I had a few, and they were all spectacular! The plain glazed is one of the best I’ve had. Simple, but stunning. The Nutella donut is exactly what you want from a donut promising Nutella. But the star was the strawberry shortcake donut. “Complex” is the word of choice here. I think my drink got mixed up with the person who ordered before me. However, the staff quickly fixed the issue and made me a new drink right away. The boba itself isn't anything to write home about. But, it has a decent tea flavor and isn't too sweet. I got the Kumquat Lemon green tea and found it to be very similar to Ding Tea's. So, if you like that drink, this is a good equivalent.“

“I eat here frequently, usually once a week. I have eaten a fair amount of what is on the menu and every thing has been great. They may have the single best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. Their fried steak, hambuger steak, and meatloaf are my favorites. The fried steak is hand breaded and perfect. Everything is handmade and delicious. The people are super nice and pleasant to deal with and the prices are more than fair. Probably my favorite place to eat in Plano. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out.“

My experiences have been in the last year. 1st this might be one of the cleanest donut shops I've ever been inside. 2nd, the donuts are always fresh & delicious & sometimes still warm (depending on the time). 3rd, the gentleman at the counter is so kind & friendly. This is my family's favorite donut shop in the area. We drive out of our way for this particular shop. I would urge anyone to try them again as they have either changed ownership or management.“

The highlights here have to be the in house deli, bakery, bulk goods, and fresh garlic sauce on demand. Ordering is a little confusing the first time, especially since the workers are doing their own things and there are no signs or instruction. Theres a self serve computer kiosk you punch in your order, and then the staff will quietly put your food out on the other side of the where you paid. I got the kofta kabob and it was pretty good! The meat was flavorful and moist, the veggies were fresh, and the bread was soft but sturdy.“
