The lavender milk tea and the red velvet mochinuts make the perfect “pretending you’re going to study” snacks.
My drinks today where great! But wow covid has really changed this place. The girl SITTING behind the glass was not friendly and had zero personality. They no longer offer a sample of the tea of the day or allow you to pay with cash. I mean you want me to try the new tea you already have made but no longer offer a sample????? The fun place you could sit down and drink your tea and have a great conversion and play a board game or two is gone. So sad to see a place I enjoyed to...read full review

Fat Straws is a place where friendly staff provides great service and delicious drinks. The milk teas are still sweeter even with 50% less sugar, but the mochi Dubai chocolate flavor was delicious, and the kids loved it. Customers love the bubble tea and definitely the donuts; the tea or donuts never disappoint. A personal favorite is a strawberry smoothie, and the staff is amazing, friendly and kind. One customer discovered a caramel frappe has ice cream, but the guy in the back gave an alternative to making it without ice cream, and it was still just as delicious. Long-time loyalty customers since 2004 notice that every drink is made from a scoop of frozen fruits of your choice, though things have changed after the pandemic; prices went up, and some wish they still used fruit and juice instead of powders. However, the staff is always friendly, and the amazing mochi is still a reason to come. It is a smaller place, so seating may not be available, but it is worth picking up and leaving with.
