“We (wife and I) were at Marble Dental two doors down yesetrday and decided to check out Rice Garden for the first time. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My wife and I had the combo with meat and chicken (opted out of the shrimp) and with jalapenos in the brown rice. Very delicious.

The meal was more than ample for us to split. We also got two small bowls of the hot and sour soup ($2.99 each) and I must say it was the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted/eaten. Very hearty and tasty. I'm thinking about it right now. Would be nice to have a bucket of it in the refrigerator at home to get through the cold winter days and nights. :-) Definitely will be back to Rice Garden.“

“Took our family of 10 here and were seated immediately, which was a great start. We had a few people in our group who needed gluten-free options, and the staff was very helpful in confirming which dishes could be modified. It would be even better if those options were clearly labeled on the menu. The food came out quickly and everything was excellent. Standouts included the egg drop soup with crispy wontons, chicken dumplings, Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken, green beans, garlic edamame, and the three-flavored chicken. Every dish was flavorful and well prepared. Also a big plus that the restaurant is halal.

“We ordered takeout a few nights ago and were quite satisfied with everything we got. The menu is mid-sized, but there are a TON of customizations you can make for every dish--well done, extra meat, spice level, added ingredients, etc--and our order was ready super quick! I ordered Szechuan shrimp and it was LOADED with shrimp! We received complementary fried wonton strips with each entrée. The gentleman at the counter also made sure we got our drinks which was very nice.

Ordering through their website gives you a decent discount, to boot, but did take a little getting used to. This place is open a bit later than all the other Chinese restaurants, so I can imagine we'll be ordering here often.“

“I lived in McKinney for a bit and this was my go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food is always excellent and the delivery was so fast. I have a lot of weird dietary restrictions so would often ask for certain ingredients to be removed or adjusted, and everything always showed up EXACTLY how I requested.“

We had a great tasty lunch, clean and good service. ( waiter answered all questions and delivered good service) just very business like which was nice.“

It was not noted on the online menu but the level of spicy on this dish was perfect, (they did let my husband know this was a spicy dish when ordering in person). “I ordered the pork fried rice thru door dash. It was amazing. Pork was tender and rice was perfectly spiced. Meals are usually 2 servings so you can eat half and save the other for another day. I got an egg roll . It was good but for the price you should get 2 because they are very small. No got mustard in the pack which I missed.“

“We drove 2 hours to go to this panda express specifically because they serve an entre with tofu and eggplant. We wish all panda express locations would carry it. We ordered 6 servings they had to make it for us and they got it done quickly without complaint. Plenty of seating it was busy so it was loud. Parking lot was small but big enough to accommodate most vehicles.“
