“They were outstanding. Went above and beyond to accommodate. One of the very few places that serve traditional pork egg rolls and they were excellent! My granddaughter got the honey chicken and loved it. Flavorful, nice portions, and priced fair.

“This was our first visit to Bushi Bushi but I can tell you it won’t be our last this place was absolutely amazing. We got there when they opened at 4:30PM and was greeted with a smile by the staff. We place our order online and they are at our door with HOT food within 25 minutes. They often wait at the curb to make sure we received it & always wave with a big smile. “I was raised on NY Chinese food, and since moving to DFW in 2017, I’ve struggled to find anything that really compares. Golden Pot is honestly one of the best contenders I’ve found so far!

The chicken egg rolls were a 10/10! Easily some of the best I’ve had here. The egg drop soup was also excellent with amazing flavor. I tried the St. Louis chicken fried rice, which was flavorful and definitely better than most of the Chinese fried rice I’ve found in the area. It’s not quite the NY-style fried rice I grew up with, but very good in its own right.

The Beef Cho-Cho had great flavor as well. Next time I’ll ask for it well done because I personally like a little crisp/char on the edges. The sesame chicken was also very good and wasn’t overly breaded.

I ordered through DoorDash and everything was prepared and delivered surprisingly quickly. Overall, I was really impressed and will absolutely order from Golden Pot again. If you’re a NY transplant searching DFW for good Chinese takeout, this place is definitely worth trying!“

“Our favorite place for dry pot. We love the concept that we can add in what we like. This is def an underrated place. We get spiciest level and it adds more flavor along with it. It is ran by an old man by himself who speaks barely any English. The place looks bare with no direction on how to order. I feel like if they removed the language barrier and added more decor to their spot, they would get more customers. Def a must try.“

“Born and raised donuts VERY HARD to sell me stl style fried rice because trully NO ONE HAS MADE IT FULLY. As well asno one sells st Paul sandwiches here. However I must admit the stl style fried rice here was closest to the mark. I've been team rice house on beltline. And still love them, but from born and raised on THE BEST OF STL FRIED RICE, GOLDEN POT I GIVE YOU YOUR PROPS, best since landing here 4 years ago. Lomein is pretty good, could be better, I think if they use lomein noodles instead of spaghetti noodles and make them a little wetter instead of dryer they would hit alot better. Definitely worth the trip. Trust me 100s say know STL fried rice. Um born and raised in the city pf St. Louis we know the best of the best. Golden pot does have my highest vote so far here.“

“Met a friend here who has been here multiple times. I went with small egg drop soup and the Tofu Pad Thai.

The soup was standard, good. They brought out the crispy wontons to go in our soups (which I'd heard an earlier reviewer saying they weren't doing at the time they visited).

The flavor of the Pad Thai was just alright. Not completely bland, but definitely not as flavorful or flavor-noticeable as other Pad Thai dishes elsewhere.

But...the portion sizes are HUGE. Very very generous on the portion sizes! The 'small' egg drop soup here is probably close to a large egg drop soup elsewhere. And the entree portions are easily enough for two regular meals.

I will be coming back, to try some other main dish, to see if it hits the mark better. They have a wide variety of both Chinese and Thai dishes, so the possibility to find something better than the Pad Thai is good.
