“Noodle bowl were very good. The soup noodle was a big bowl, more then enough for 2. The dry noodle was delicious. The pork bone soup noodle was good and light. All spice is adjustable. Popcorn chicken was very good. Waitress was very helpful explaining everything. Will definitely come back.“

“The best pho restaurant in the Carrollton area! The broth is delicious! I particularly like it because they don't add too much sweetness and oil to the broth like other places. It's an excellent beefy broth. And they have a homemade chili paste that's great to add, if you like your pho that way. The meat is tender and the veggies are always fresh.
The service is also the best you'll ever get! Such a nice Vietnamese family that runs the restaurant. They'll remember you and your order if you come back!“

“We visited this place last Sunday. It’s very family-friendly and great for dining with kids. I had the spicy seolleongtang, and the broth was very rich and flavorful. We also ordered dumplings and pork cutlet, and the kids absolutely loved them.
Our server didn’t seem to be Korean, but she spoke Korean very well and kindly explained the dishes to us. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience and a nice place to visit with family.“

“Tried this place for the first time and was pretty impressed by the offerings they had.
I am not a huge cold noodle fan but they had other dishes that suited my taste.
1. The spicy noodles were not too spicy and they gave you a lot of beef
2. The seafood pancake was just crispy but their wasn’t alot of seafood
The nice thing was we did not need to tip and everyone has to clean up after themselves“

“If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Carrollton, please give Kooksoo a try. This place honestly deserves so much more attention. My boyfriend and I got the King Rib Jjamppong. The food was absolutely delicious, comforting, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was how kind and genuine the owner was. He personally came out to check on every table, asking if everything tasted good and whether the spice level was okay. You can really tell he cares about his customers and puts his heart into the restaurant.
In a time where so many places feel rushed or impersonal, this felt incredibly warm and welcoming. Great food, generous portions, and genuinely kind service. Small family-owned restaurants like this deserve all the support. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Pixiu is my go to malatang place and nowhere else competes for me! I usually get the level 1 spice, but I might get level 2 the next time because I’ve realized that it isn’t spicy enough for me. Great selection of vegetables and other foods. The front lady is also very nice. There are also a lot of seats inside.“

“Got taken here by my sister and didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The noodles were genuinely delicious. We ordered jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), spicy seafood noodles (pretty spicy, so only if you can handle heat), Korean fried pork, and beef noodles (not spicy and very easy to enjoy). Portions are quite generous in my opinion, if you go with a group, it’s perfect for trying a variety of dishes. Will come back!“

“We wound up here pretty much by accident. My wife had seen the sign for the ramen place next door but I saw this as I was getting out of the car. Very glad I did. Delicious and affordable. All of the entrées are $9.99. Even the Soup Dumplings, which have a meatball in the center and a tasty, ginger forward broth. The only critique I have is the fried egg as a topping. I was expecting the yolk to be runny but it was hard cooked. But on the plus side, all of the toppings (including the egg) are no charge for up to four. Entrées can be with or without broth. Located just on the north side of Chick-fil-A on Old Denton, you have GOT to try this place. Good food and a great value.“
