“I tried this place on a Wednesday and it was so good. I came back Thursday and Friday. The portions are generous and I really love the fresh Vietnamese limeade. It's about 32 oz for$4. I got the rare steak and tripe pho, I highly recommend it. The young man that works here is super outgoing and very personable.“

“We visited this place last Sunday. It’s very family-friendly and great for dining with kids. I had the spicy seolleongtang, and the broth was very rich and flavorful. We also ordered dumplings and pork cutlet, and the kids absolutely loved them.
Our server didn’t seem to be Korean, but she spoke Korean very well and kindly explained the dishes to us. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience and a nice place to visit with family.“

“Tried this place for the first time and was pretty impressed by the offerings they had.
I am not a huge cold noodle fan but they had other dishes that suited my taste.
1. The spicy noodles were not too spicy and they gave you a lot of beef
2. The seafood pancake was just crispy but their wasn’t alot of seafood
The nice thing was we did not need to tip and everyone has to clean up after themselves“

“If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Carrollton, please give Kooksoo a try. This place honestly deserves so much more attention. My boyfriend and I got the King Rib Jjamppong. The food was absolutely delicious, comforting, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was how kind and genuine the owner was. He personally came out to check on every table, asking if everything tasted good and whether the spice level was okay. You can really tell he cares about his customers and puts his heart into the restaurant.
In a time where so many places feel rushed or impersonal, this felt incredibly warm and welcoming. Great food, generous portions, and genuinely kind service. Small family-owned restaurants like this deserve all the support. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“My friends and I had such a delicious dinner here! We shared the cucumber salad, soup dumplings, pan fried combination dumplings, and chili oil dumplings. Our waitress was VERY kind and let us taste test a new dish of spicy pork noodles that we will definitely be coming back to eat again!!“

“Pixiu is my go to malatang place and nowhere else competes for me! I usually get the level 1 spice, but I might get level 2 the next time because I’ve realized that it isn’t spicy enough for me. Great selection of vegetables and other foods. The front lady is also very nice. There are also a lot of seats inside.“

“Got taken here by my sister and didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The noodles were genuinely delicious. We ordered jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), spicy seafood noodles (pretty spicy, so only if you can handle heat), Korean fried pork, and beef noodles (not spicy and very easy to enjoy). Portions are quite generous in my opinion, if you go with a group, it’s perfect for trying a variety of dishes. Will come back!“

“Food: Ordered the Beef Noodle, which for $10, wasn't a bad deal, considering how much prices have gone up in general. The portion was decent, the broth had some flavor and spice, the beef was tender, and it was all topped with a free egg (which could have been cooked a bit less, but that's trivial).
Service: No complaints. The experience is largely self-service and straightforward--you order from a kiosk, someone brings out your food, and you get your utensils + sauces + water yourself.
Ambiance: Casual.
Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.“
