“Had a wonderful family dinner here recently.
The site was small but cozy. There was enough space for three to four large groups. The decor was themed to the culture. Very peaceful and serene.
Food had plenty of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Spice level was 0 to 5, 3 being somewhere in between. Good portion sizes. Three family members were able to split a soup (Tom Yum Noodle Soup) that they wanted to try. Had a small taste and it was great. All the dishes were brought separately (with the exception of the appetizers) so that they would be piping hot when served. The corn patties were a surprise. They were crispy but a little hard. The sauce they came with was sweet and vinegary. The milk tea drinks (mango, strawberry, thai coffee) were a little on the sweet side but had a great flavor and were super creamy.
The staff was nice and polite. There seem to be only one person managing the front. She did her best to make us feel welcomed.
Would like to come here again.“

“We were in town staying at a nearby hotel and was wanting Chinese food. My husband agreed to go out and pick up the order. We ordered online and found the process smooth and seamless.
Here is what we ordered:

2 quart sized honey chicken meals and got the fried rice with one and shrimp fried rice with the other. The honey chicken tastes like orange chicken with a hint of honey. Not very sticky or flavorful.
I give it a 7/10

My husband ordered some wonton soup and said it needed some green onions or something to add flavor. He said it was a good size and was a nice proportion of broth and noodle dumpling. He said it was a 7/10

The rice was yellow (thought it would be brownish due to soy sauce) and wasnt bad but didn’t have much flavor. I added duck sauce to try to spruce it up. The shrimp fried rice seemed like the shrimp was cooked separate from the rice. It was not incorporated well into the rice and didnt have a lot of flavor or seasoning. Just nice sized pink shrimp in rice (that werent deveined). I give the rice a 6/10

The best thing were the eggrolls. Although they were a bit salty they did have flavor and were crispy and good. I give the eggrolls a 8/10

Everything was hot and fresh but I dont know if I were ever in town Id order again from Lui’s Kitchen.

We moved to Texas from another state that had extremely good Chinese food so maybe our bar is high. I say try it for yourself. You may like it.

“I had one of the great halal Thai food experiences I’ve had in the Dallas area. The place was clean, the staff genuinely friendly and welcoming. And the food exceeded my expectations. We ordered the beef, chicken, buffalo wings, plain wings, and rice. And everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you’re looking for authentic halal Thai food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I was honestly surprised by the current overall rating because it doesn’t match what I experienced. Everyone’s visit can be different, but based on mine, the restaurant deserves way more recognition. I’ll definitely be back and would encourage others to give it a chance too. It’s not a place you can have large parties though but a good enough place for solo or 2-4 people group.“
