“So this place was really good, I grew up on BBQ so I typically don’t eat it out but this Asian fusion was very nice twist. We ordered the brisket and it was a small portion for the price and it was cold to the touch! my bf is very non confrontational so he just ate it. Tbh it was nothing crazy, tender and a strong Smokey flavor. The chicken karaage was delicious, the combination of ginger, basil and cilantro with it was just *chefs kiss* we tried the sweet corn fritters and sent them back but they are very popular just neither one of us enjoyed them. We also grabbed the rice noodles and oh my gosh they were go amazing. It’s a cold noodles and topped with fresh cilantro and just the right amount of heat and so good. The last side we shared was the Caesar salad, it was not good. I’m a salad lover and Caesar is my favorite, the lettuce was old, wilted and not that nice crisp fresh bite. “Food is incredible here!!! Large group went for lunch. It came out fast and every dish was seasoned perfectly. We had the Shrimp fried rice and asked them to make it a little spicy. This was full of flavor with a kick. We loved it! K-pop chicken was sooo crispy and good. Our friend even ordered this to go for her boys. Combination noodles, combination vegetables, beef and broccali (so simple but why was it so good!)...these were perfectly cooked and veggies were so fresh. This place is on point with flavors, they use fresh ingredients, and know how to cook it perfectly!“

“While the food is fantastic and the sushi is delicious, the service always leaves something to be desired. Our servers for the past three occasions are always a little on the slower side of attentiveness, and tend to need direction from the patrons (need silverware, please don’t just take our drinks; we’re ready to order now since it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged). They are always friendly, but they act like the restaurant is filled to the brim when the back half of the joint is virtually empty. More than anything, I’m so turned off by the service provided by the hostess table. Two younger girls were working the front tonight and acted like they couldn’t even be bothered. My friend apparently came in 20 minutes prior to put our name in, and was quoted 45 minutes, which would’ve been 6:15p. I stopped by the front at 5:50p (before I knew he had already put in our name) and the hostesses were super passive and quoted another 45 minutes to his name that I then realized was already on the list. When we didn’t get called at 6:20p, that friend went to the front only to find out that the girl had thrown away the paper she wrote his name on. Super unprofessional and not at all friendly. I didn’t catch their names, but the evening hostesses on 02/28/2020 need a crash course in hospitality. I’ll keep coming back simply for the convenience of being on the Omni Dallas property, and the quality of the food.“

“Stopped by Little Katana and honestly had such a great experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed, and a lovely lady named Kelly took great care of me. She guided me to a seat that ended up being perfect, and throughout the meal she kept checking in to make sure everything was comfortable without being intrusive.
I sat out on the patio and even brought my dog with me, and she were incredibly kind and accommodating about it. which I really appreciated.
We started with the dumplings and they were absolutely delicious crispy on the outside and super flavorful. Everything we ordered after that was just as good. “Second time at Komodo Dallas, first time for dinner.
Went on a Friday and it was calm, very different from when they first opened and we waited over an hour after our reservation.

We did the Dragon Experience ($85/person, family-style) since it was a group dinner. Overall, most of the food leaned really salty for me and didn’t fully hit.

Their Money Bag Dumplings didn’t stand out. The Salmon Miso was inconsistent, some pieces were nicely cooked, others were basically raw, so not everyone ate it. That said, the crispy eggplant with it was actually tasty, great fry on it. I wish we asked for more of the spicy mayo from the Brussels sprouts because it paired really well with the eggplant.

The NY strip was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the glaze or sauce didn’t feel like anything special.

The Korean Fried Chicken looked glazed and beautiful but just didn’t taste as good as it looked and was still too salty for me.

I don’t usually say this, but the spicy tuna roll wasn’t bad, which makes me think ordering more rolls might be the better move here instead of the prix fixe.

The only dish I’d come back for is dessert. The Yuzu Raspberry Dumpling was the standout, perfect white chocolate shell, light filling, not too sweet. Easily the best bite of the night.

Service was good, as expected, and the cocktails were tasty, so maybe cocktails and dessert next time.

I’m giving it 4-stars because of the dessert. Very memorable.“

They expanded their business and I saw another section that looks like it’s karaoke or something. Haven’t tried that yet. Great food, friendly service, decent prices.“

“Probably the best Chinese take out when it comes to price, quality, and quantity. Wait time is a little long sometimes but that’s because they always have customers. I always order the orange chicken with fried rice and chili oil. It will run you around $10, two nice servings and the chili oil is hot! :D“
