We ordered 1-Mutton Chops 9/10, delicious and perfectly cooked 2-Chicken Lover10/10, all time fav balanced spicy and full of juices 3-Paratha Role9/10, Filled with juicy kaboobs and rich of sauces 4-Naan Role8/10, juicy bbq Boti Naan was just Okay. 5-Mango Lassi9/10, Great balance of sugar and Mango 6-Samosa9/10, Samosa Chaat comes with variety of sauces and Salad. You can have multiple flavors in a single bite. 7-Fruit Chat8/10, Good range of fruits in a single serving 8-Masla Fries 9/10 Crispy and Fresh with balanced spices 9-Pakoras8/10. You can feel homemade taste in Pakoras. Ambience 8/10 They have very positive change in sitting arrangements. Whole furniture is changed and place is spacious and can accommodate more guests now. If you are a Hijabi you can ask them to book a spot for you where you can comfortably eat. Hospitality/Customer Service. 8/10 Good hospitality and people very available on a single call and even they check on you on and off in case you need anything.“

“My family and I traveled all the way from Pittsburgh to Texas and we had to stop here. The food was amazing and very authentic that we had food from here every day of our trip. Definitely would recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic Kerala food. Must try spot in Texas. Chef Sanu himself comes in and checks on everyone. The staff was also very kind and welcoming.“

“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. Overall an excellent experience and my appreciation to management and owners for doing a very fine job. Wish you all the success!“

The food is bursting with authentic Pakistani flavor the chicken karahi is rich, spicy, and perfectly cooked, and the family naan is fresh, fluffy, addictive and the star of the show. Service was warm and attentive. The space felt inviting, the décor thoughtful, and the overall vibe was exactly what you want from a place specialising in a cuisine that deserves to shine. “I have been living in the DFW area since 2000. Since the new owner, Fahim, took over Shalimar, the customer service has improved significantly. In my opinion, it is the only restaurant in the entire DFW area that truly offers authentic Bangladeshi cuisine.

We really enjoy their food and hospitality. Their Ramadan iftar is especially wonderful and something we always look forward to.

The only issue for me is that it is quite far from where I live.“

“We drive all the way from Watauga to eat there. Love your Chicken Dum Biriyani and Chicken Korma. Great prices and most importantly; great portions! Will come back again and again.“

“Had an amazing experience at AL Kabob Grill & Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Pakistani and Indian flavors. Every dish tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The Nihari and Beef Biryani were outstanding, and the Lahori fish was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

The portions are very generous for the price, making it one of the best value spots in Dallas.
What made the experience even better was the customer service. The staff was extremely humble, welcoming, and attentive throughout the visit. They made us feel comfortable and genuinely cared about providing a great dining experience.

The restaurant may keep a simple ambiance, but the quality of food, hospitality, and authentic desi taste make it a place you’ll want to come back to again. Highly recommended!“
