We ordered 1-Mutton Chops 9/10, delicious and perfectly cooked 2-Chicken Lover10/10, all time fav balanced spicy and full of juices 3-Paratha Role9/10, Filled with juicy kaboobs and rich of sauces 4-Naan Role8/10, juicy bbq Boti Naan was just Okay. 5-Mango Lassi9/10, Great balance of sugar and Mango 6-Samosa9/10, Samosa Chaat comes with variety of sauces and Salad. You can have multiple flavors in a single bite. 7-Fruit Chat8/10, Good range of fruits in a single serving 8-Masla Fries 9/10 Crispy and Fresh with balanced spices 9-Pakoras8/10. You can feel homemade taste in Pakoras. Ambience 8/10 They have very positive change in sitting arrangements. Whole furniture is changed and place is spacious and can accommodate more guests now. If you are a Hijabi you can ask them to book a spot for you where you can comfortably eat. Hospitality/Customer Service. 8/10 Good hospitality and people very available on a single call and even they check on you on and off in case you need anything.“

“Absolutely loved our experience here — a true slice of Kerala on a plate. The combo meal with fish curry, beef dry fry, moru curry, pickle, achar, and payasam was spot on. The mackerel fry and anchovy fry were crispy, flavorful, and tasted just like back home. The pulisseri tied everything together beautifully with its homely, soulful touch — every bite felt nostalgic. The snacks — medhu vada, ullivada, sukhiyan, and neyyappam — were pure comfort food. Perfectly done, crispy outside and soft inside, with authentic flavors in every bite. What truly stood out was the warmth of the place. Chef Sanu clearly cooks with heart, and the staff were humble, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return. Weekday options are a bit limited but still delicious; weekends offer a wider variety. Seating is cozy and limited. Yummilicious, authentic Kerala cuisine at its best. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Service is excellent and especially they take very good care for the kids. Our kids got lot of snacks and they didn’t even charge for that. Sitting area is unique and different and obviously very comfortable. 100% recommendations!❤️“

“I have eaten at this place numerous times and they continue to provide great service and food that is usually a 4+. We had Halwa Puri, beef kabobs, chicken karahi, dal and gol gupas. Kabobs and dal were outstanding. Always a great place to eat with traditional flavors.“

“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. Overall an excellent experience and my appreciation to management and owners for doing a very fine job. Wish you all the success!“

“I wanted to share my experience here! I have been to this place twice now, and both experiences were great. The staff is friendly, the decor is beautiful, the environment is very nice, and the overall vibe is really fun.They offer a wide variety of Indian and Pakistani snacks. The milk tea was actually really good, and the hookah/shisha was great too. If you are new to hookah, just ask them for a proper combination of paan and other flavors—they are super helpful with suggestions. The mint mojito was incredibly refreshing, almost like a frosted mint mojito. The food was decent, making it a nice spot to try different flavors and enjoy some snacks.The seating arrangement is amazing, with beautiful vibes that suit groups of all sizes. I also loved the music in the background, which was a great mix of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and English tracks. highly recommended.“

“we catered food from dera grill last weekend. Food was tasty specially Mutton karahi and bihari kabab was too good . highly recommended for catering.“

“I have been living in the DFW area since 2000. Since the new owner, Fahim, took over Shalimar, the customer service has improved significantly. In my opinion, it is the only restaurant in the entire DFW area that truly offers authentic Bangladeshi cuisine.

We really enjoy their food and hospitality. Their Ramadan iftar is especially wonderful and something we always look forward to.

The only issue for me is that it is quite far from where I live.“
