“Unbelievable Flavor and Perfect Comfort Food!

If you are looking for authentic, deeply flavorful, and incredibly satisfying Taiwanese hot pot, POT 17 is an absolute must-visit.
We ordered a mix of classic items, and every single one hit the mark:

1. House Special Pot (with peanut broth): Absolutely incredible depth of flavor. The rich, savory broth paired perfectly with the stinky tofu and vermicelli. It’s comforting, aromatic, and packed with ingredients.

2. Taiwanese Spicy Pot: A beautiful, vibrant broth with just the right amount of kick. Loaded with tender sliced meats, fresh cabbage, glass noodles, and an egg cracked right on top. Cooking fresh at the table on the mini burner keeps it piping hot and perfect until the very last bite.

3. Fried Fermented Tofu: Perfectly crispy on the outside while staying wonderfully tender on the inside. A must-try side dish if you appreciate authentic flavors.

The portion sizes are massive, the presentation is beautiful, and the checkout process via Chowbus was seamless and easy. For under $60 for a massive, comforting feast for two, the value is unbeatable.

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. “Very late to the hotpot party as I know this location has been here for awhile! Been going around the suburbs trying out all the hot pot places like HaiDiLao, Nan, Liuyishou, Shoo Loong Kan, etc.

This place had a refreshingly simple and straight forward pricing. The price included everything so broth and sauces weren't extra like some of the other places and that made the value aspect nicer! We also loved how thick the meat was sliced, definitely noticeabley thicker than some of the other places.

Service was solid too and we would recommend this place to anyone!“

We had such a great experience at 88 Korean BBQ and Hotpot. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the meats and hotpot options. Everything tasted really authentic.

The service made it even better. The staff, Anna Grace, was kind, attentive, and checked in often without being overwhelming. She made sure we were comfortable the whole time.

The place was clean and had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for friends or family. Definitely coming back again.“
