The selection here isn’t very big, but the quality looks really good! The owner is super polite and friendly.
I ordered the malatang with a mild spice level. The broth had this rich, nutty sesame sauce flavor that reminded me so much of the malatang I used to have in Beijing.

Definitely one of the best places to go and enjoy a delicious noodle soup! You can choose from any variety of vegetables they have ( which I LOVED ) and the level of spice as well, great customer service!

Based on the reviews, Tanghuo Kungfu Malatang Carrollton is the best malatang restaurant in Dallas. The owner is always kind, welcoming, incredibly nice, and really cares about the service. The food quality is amazing, and they never miss the spot. The malatang features incredibly fresh ingredients with a wide variety of toppings, and the meat is perfectly cooked and flavorful. The broth has just the right balance of spice and richness, making every bite satisfying. Prices are very fair for the quality and portion size. Highly recommend ordering the malatang with sweet and sour fried pork (guobaorou) on the side. The place is super clean, and the food tastes legit. A great spot for authentic, delicious malatang.
