Absolutely love this place! The black garlic ramen is hands down one of the best in Texas! Been to Japan a couple times, and I must say this place taste super authentic!
Only thing that was good was the fried rice that came with the combo ramen. Ramen was not up to my standards—especially, their noodles were sticking together.
Yummy food and great service! We have some food restrictions and they were able to accommodate us. Even after we ordered the wrong thing, they were kind enough to take it back and make the changes. Thank you!

Ramen Kabukiya is a nice little spot inside Mitsuwa supermarket's food court, featuring stylish Japanese-style paintings on the walls, adding a cool ambiance. The tonkotsu ramen and soy sauce ramen are localized for the American palate, with milder flavors and softer noodles. While not traditional, the ramen is easy to eat and fits well within the food court setting. The fried rice, including garlic wagyu fried rice, and beef dishes are decent. The food can be very spicy, but thankfully, customers can ask for different spice levels. The owner is very kind and great service too. Diners get the food themselves, which is fine. The ambiance is nice, since it is a cool hangout spot with other food options. Additionally, there is a delicious vegan option available. The owner is the perfect embodiment of perfectionist high energy Japanese business owner. His food is excellent, he cares deeply, and he is extremely attentive. This ramen shop is excellent, and the tonkatsu is excellent. This is authentic ramen, exactly what you get in Japan. The menma, the beni shōga, the tonkatsu, all of it is exactly what you would have in Tokyo. Some may complain because they are not from Japan and they want to haggle or want something else maybe more for less... But this is REAL, this is authentic as it gets. If you don't want to spend 13 hours flying to Tokyo, this is literally what it tastes like. This man is a saint. You should thank him and eat here. Thank you for the delicious meal. Customers love their kemichi Rama soups and fried rice is the best they ever eat. They will go there every time they feel to eat kemichi Rama and fried rice. They got the garlic wagyu fried rice and gyoza. Lovely customer service, super cheerful and brought them their food, so nice! They definitely plan to go again and try other dishes.
