Food, cleanliness and service was wonderful! Will come back again and again.
While in Dallas, I'd thought I would stop by here with my husband to try some Japanese dining. This was my first time trying the katsu-don and it was delicious! The salmon sushi and squid were also very tasty. We got lucky and arrived during a buy one, get one half off sushi special. So that was a plus. Presentation and flavor was excellent. Thank you for having us!
I had a fantastic time. I went there for lunch for a cheap price. I got a large portion size of fish and sashimi and it was amazing. The atmosphere is really positive welcoming and warm and they do karaoke on the weekends overall, a wonderful time.

Tokyo Shokudo is a cozy restaurant that offers a variety of Japanese dishes. The spicy miso ramen is a highlight, with a balanced flavor and a great level of spice. The deluxe Tonkatsu ramen, however, feels unbalanced due to its extremely rich broth. The nami combo is a good value, with good nigiri and miso ramen, although the latter lacks flavor. The restaurant's interior is beautifully decorated with Japanese-themed decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and speaks Japanese, enhancing the authentic experience. Portions are generous, and the food is very tasty, often looking just like the pictures in the menu. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice ambiance, making it a great place for authentic Japanese cuisine. While some menu items like sashimi and salmon/tuna bowls are no longer available, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Customers appreciate the good value and the delicious food, especially the pork katsu curry and udon/tempura combo. Many look forward to returning and recommend it to friends.
