Get the miso cod with the potato salad & pasta salad! Soooo delicious. Chicken katsu was perfectly crispy. 10/10 would recommend!

This was our first time coming here, and this could be our new favorite curry place! Everything was delicious from okonomiyaki pancakes to the curry to the matcha funnel cake strips (highly recommend). The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was really cute and welcoming. Their staff is really upbeat, and I felt like they took a lot of pride in their restaurant. Wonderful experience all around - especially on a chilly fall day.
If anyone is in the mood for Japanese comfort food and in the Plano area, I recommend giving Curry Tei & Bar a chance. They opened roughly about 8 weeks or so. The kids enjoyed their kids’ meal and all the desserts. They left behind no crumbs. The appetizers were so fresh and all well seasoned. The bento box meals are generous in size and very filling. Curry Tei & Bar is a Japanese comfort food restaurant in the Plano area that opened roughly about 8 weeks ago. The restaurant is described as a new favorite spot and possibly the best curry place. The atmosphere is really cute and welcoming, with Halloween decorations for the holidays. The restaurant is spacious and has a lot of opening seating. The staff is always incredibly sweet, very kind, very helpful, and really upbeat, and they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. The service was impeccable.
The menu offers delicious Japanese comfort food. The okonomiyaki pancakes, the curry, and the matcha funnel cake strips are highly recommended. The Pandan Matcha is mentioned as a favorite. The miso cod with the potato salad and pasta salad is soooo delicious, and the chicken katsu was perfectly crispy. The tonkatsu was quite tender, and the potato salad was delicious. The appetizers were so fresh and all well seasoned. The bento box meals are generous in size and very filling. The kids enjoyed their kids' meal and all the desserts. Other items include the Matcha sea salt edamame, Curry Tei loaded fries, Taoyaki, Ika Geso Karaage, Tonkatsu bento box with seaweed salad and potato salad with side of miso soup, Miso Cod bento box with salad and pasta salad, Tonkatsu curry with Tofu Katsu, Chicken Katsu nuggets & fries, Taiyaki sundae, Strawberry soda float, and a spicy Tonkatsu Udon Curry with a 20oz Sapporo.
