“Didn't get to read all the reviews for this place, but not sure why the rating is as low as it is here. First off, the service was great! Our server was very attentive and always brought out refills before we even finished them. Very friendly! On to the food. We started off with the fried green tomatoes and they were very tasty. I got the bacon avocado burger and I mean, look at the picture! It almost looks like those burgers in commercials, so perfect and true, but never look like that in person. Well, I don't think this burger would look as good in a commercial as it did in real person. The taste just matched it! Lots of avocado! Better half had the chicken fried chicken with the macaroni and mashed potatoes. This is where the one star was deducted. I got a taste of the mashed potatoes and they were super dry and hard. Macaroni was flavorless as well. Chicken was good but not great. Place wasn't crowded and it was an early dinner, so we may try it out again at some earlier time to see how those potatoes improve, if at all.“
“I order from this location 2-3 times per week & basically get the same thing each time, as I order through the app. On the plus side, food is always fresh & ready by the time I arrive. And I love the rewards option that saves me a few bucks after several visits. On the not-so-plus side, 1) I wish the app didn't require you to get two dressings/sauces, as I barely use one; 2) I also wish the app allowed notes such as "extra ice" for the beverages; and 3) I love that the app allows editing of the ingredients in the salad. However, please stop removing items that I do NOT mark as removed. Each time lately, something is removed that I actually wanted on the salad. I'll keep visiting . . . but hoping someone in management reads these notes & offers some training tips.“

“We got for the tomato soup base with a-Choy root and king oyster mushroom since we have kids, and we absolutely enjoyed it. The fish was extremely tender and tasty. Despite the small square footage, the store offers fantastic fish and a delightful environment. We also savored the homemade fried milk custard and crispy fried pork belly, both of which were excellent. We decided to sign up for the membership to enjoy a lifelong 5% discount.“

I ordered the truffle fries, onion rings, and their original mac n’ cheese (I’m vegetarian). Onion rings were amazing, decent portion size, large, and very crispy and flavorful (8.5/10). The truffle fries were also really good; they are a good choice (7.3/10). Finally, the mac n’ cheese, easily a 10/10! This was by far the best mac n’ cheese I’ve ever tried!Service was OK, our waitress was friendly. However our only complain is that she had misheard us and took away the onion rings and truffle fries away from us when I said we’d finish it (she had checked on us). I am disappointed of that interaction, as it would have made the experience a 5/5. Otherwise, this place is great! “First time. I had the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato tots. The tots were my top favorite with the dipping sauce. The chicken was nice and crispy. I didn't really care much about the cole slaw, so next time I would get the sandwich without it. But other than that food and the service was really good. I also like the Mango passion drink“
“Ordered chopped steak (with mash potatoes and broccoli), meat loaf (with mashed potatoes and fried okra), 2 kids meal spaghetti with marinara sauce, sweet potato fries/french fries), cherry cobbler, and banana pudding. The chopped steak was good and their mashed potatoes were also great. The meat loaf was a little too ketchuppy, but the fried okra was great. The kids spaghetti was a bit overcooked and watery, but the sauce was good though it was on sweeter side.The both desserts were very good, and all the dishes had good portion of food and the price was reasonable. We'd definitely come back and try them again.“

“I really like their hibachi. Best hibachi I have ever eaten so far. My family also likes to go and eat here. It’s not a top tier restaurant, but it shouldn’t be. It’s really nice place for express one with tasty food for a reasonable price and convenient service, which I definitely recommend.“
