“Happen to be in the area and tried this place out.
I got the mapo tofu, braised pork and spicy chicken, with rice. They take card but I paid cash. Food is delicious and this is a steal for the price 😋
Very easy to order and they have a huge dining area. No one was there when I went in.“

“Not only is this place beautiful, modern and spacious but it’s extremely clean and cozy. The food was delicious, well portioned, and the presentation was great. If we lived here, we’d most definitely be here often. A+++“

“I came for the convenience, but I stayed for the vibes—and the Impossible Burger. Let’s be real, hotel restaurants usually feel like a reluctant obligation. But Noell JCT? This place understood the assignment. The staff was so friendly and helpful they practically saved me from myself (thank you for stopping me from ordering the beet salad when I clearly wanted the burger).

The salads are so fresh and crunchy they sound like a car driving over gravel—just the way a salad should. And that Impossible Burger? I don’t know what kind of wizardry is happening in the kitchen, but I’d come back just for that.

The staff deserves an award for their perfect balance of efficiency and good vibes. I found myself looking forward to seeing them tomorrow, which is honestly more than I can say for some of my relatives.

“I met up with my Dallas girlfriends as I was heading back to Tampa on a late Sunday afternoon and it was perfect. I had the Brussels spouts and they were amazing. I pretty much order them wherever I go and I have to say they were crisp and seasoned well. I also had the thin crust pepperoni pizza. It was tasty as well. I highly recommend. The customer service was great and very attentive without being over bearing.“

“First time here. Recommended by a friend so we met for drinks at the bar. Large bar with plenty of seating. It quickly became obvious that there were lots of regulars.
Service - Very good service for the one bartender that was taking care of the bar and tables alike. One legged woman in an ass kicking contest, but she was very friendly, very quick, and very efficient. Good personality and knew many customers by name.
Food - Did not eat this time, but my friend said that the grilled oysters are outstanding. From the dishes that I saw, portions looked large.
Atmosphere - Got really loud a couple of times, but understandable since we were in the bar. Standard bar scene with plenty of TVs and some games. Was able to watch some World Cup while we were catching up.
Overall - Nice dive bar with a lot to offer. Plenty of beers on tap and a full service bar. It is a smoking establishment, but has good ventilation. Will definitely be back to try the oysters and hang at the bar.“

“The chicken soup was not as flavorful as I would’ve expected. We didn’t like one of the drinks they served us, but they wouldn’t even be courteous enough to change it for something different. Prices are expensive for the flavorless foods. The Tajadas were good though and The Baleadas too, but the service is mediocre. BTW, The bathrooms were super dirty plus no toilet paper. Yuck!“

“You know I won't lie to ya, but it's also that my taste buds might be different from yours. However, this is my favorite Donut ? Shop. Especially their Kolaches. I have tried other places, but I have always gotten disappointed with the Kolaches. My kids used to go there sometimes before the school bus arrived and now we take their kids. “This place is such a hidden gem! I’ve been coming here for a while and always rave about their honey BBQ chicken nuggets — they’re seriously addictive. That said, I do think they’ve started going a little overboard with the sauce lately. It ends up overpowering the flavor and makes the dish a bit too salty. I also miss the smoky, charred sear they used to have — that subtle burnt aroma used to drive me crazy (in the best way). Still, despite the changes, it’s a spot I’ll keep coming back to. The flavors are solid, and there’s something about this place that keeps pulling me in.“

“I love the plant based options and the fresh and nutritious food choices. Some of my favs are teriyaki quinoa bowl, kale salad, charred cauliflower and vegan double cheeseburger. I had the ancient grain bowl Sunday and it’s a new favorite. The squash pie is sooo delicious! I never feel guilty when I eat at True Food Kitchen because I can make healthy choices.“

“When I moved to Frisco after living in a much smaller city, it didn’t take long to notice a difference in how people interact. Even when things are crazy-busy where I lived, the grocery store checkers, retail, restaurants—both customers and employees would at least look each other in the eye, and say a quick, “How’s it going?” “Oh, wow. You’re slammed tonight.” “Love your coat, where’d you get it?” Here in Dallas, the pace is at a constant sprint, and many times employees don’t even look up to see who they’re waiting on. So I take notice of that, and I want to call out Hostess Ava. She’s welcoming, upbeat, makes eye contact, gives off calm vibes, and engages. It’s a short interaction, but when the host/hostess is the first person you see, those things can bring someone’s mood up a few notches, because you never know what ‘baggage’ the person walking in the door is carrying. Came from a bad meeting? Got bad news from the dr. ? Got a speeding ticket on the way, so lunch time is shortened? Shout out to server Zo, too.“

“Kids eat for $1.99 on Sundays. The chicken tenders are good the Fry's are good. The hot wings are good. Also the chicken and waffles are delicious and the combo is 5.99 on Wednesday. My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.“
