“My husband and I are always on the lookout for excellent Thai offerings in our community and, with Thai in Town, we finally found it. Before this eatery opened, we made the journey to downtown Dallas to dine at Bangkok City. Happily, we longer have to make this trek. The food at Thai in Town is delicious, fresh, and authentically crafted. We are delighted that outstanding Thai cuisine is now in our “backyard.”“

“The food is worthy of 5 stars, but the service on our last two visits was terrible. They have an extensive menu with all of the better known Thai favorites and some interesting (and tasty) variations. The Pot Stickers are great. So is the Tom Yum Thailicious - their spin on classic Tom Yum. The Pineapple Fried Rice is addictive. Highly recommend the Pad Thai. The Hostess was as friendly and engaged as she could be, but on the visit before last our waiter spent most of his time sitting at a table looking at his phone, and when he occasionally thought to actually check on us he was surly to the point of being almost non-conversational (rude?). On our last visit it was the same story. We actually asked the hostess if she could please seat us in a section of the restaurant that we thought was not his. She gladly obliged, but it turned out that we miscalculated and wound up with him as our waiter again. This time he spent less time checking his phone, but his attitude and level of engagement was no better. We love their food, so maybe we order food for pick up in the future. We saw a steady steam of customers picking up orders, so maybe that's the way to go. That way we're not expected to tip a rude and inattentive waiter.“

“I visited the restaurant with my wife based upon a google total review of 4.9 last week and the food was outstanding and authentic Thai dishes such as yellow curry, papaya salad and pad Thai. All of the dishes I would rate as a 5 star.

“Generous servings, the vegetables were all very fresh tasting and the chicken looked to me as only white meat which I prefer. The Tom Kha was the best we've had so far!! It was full of vegetables and we chose chicken for our protein. Even the broth alone was so so good! It comes with rice so definitely a filling meal unlike other places that I've tried. The Drunken Noodles had a perfect amount of thai basil which is always a winner! My fiance got it with chicken and shrimp level 2 spice. Everything is made without spice but you can pick a level 1-5 or just get the chili oil on the side and add more to your liking. I got the Pad Woon Sen level 1 spice with chicken and it was perfect for me.“

“Ordered pickup, wanted to give it a try. It was 30 mins away, but definitely worth it.

Spring rolls were fresh and crunchy, pork skewers were great. And pad thai was good, but star of the show was drunken noodles.

Certainly will visit, do give it a try.

We are devout Thai food lovers, and the drunken noodles and tom kha soup we ordered were hands down the BEST we’ve ever had. Every bite tasted so fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with the highest quality ingredients. What made the experience even more special were the owners, Sonia and John. John is a retired military veteran who now helps run the restaurant with his wife, and they are the sweetest, most personable couple. They even sat with us at our table and made us feel like family — their warmth and passion shine through in both the food and the atmosphere. On top of the incredible menu, they also have a market where you can buy Thai groceries, and even a play area with toys for kids. They’ve truly thought of everything to make the whole family feel at home. We left already planning our next visit. This restaurant is an absolute gem and a gift to the community! “I just moved in around the corner from this market/restaurant, and my landlord recommended it to me. It's a tiny place with an attached store and seems to be run by a family. There's nothing fancy here. Just a very relaxed, friendly, and comfortable environment. I ordered the beef pho and it was outstanding. The broth was rich, perfectly seasoned, and extremely authentic with generous portions of meat, vegetables, and noodles.
I'll be back to try the Thai dishes soon.

“Despite the name, this isn't really a pho restaurant. I think they do serve pho, but it's mainly Thai and Lao. We've eaten here 10-12 times and it's always delicious. Their panang curry is one of my favorite things anywhere. Their other curries and the pad grapow are very good, too. My wife usually gets pad see ew and always enjoys it.“

The seaweed salad was a bit different. It was seaweed ona bed of romaine. Still a good amount of seaweed. We'd just never had it on a bed of romaine. Everything was freshly prepared! Loved the peanut sauce. Curry was tasty but not super spicy. We did a 3 and wish we'd done more. Plenty of options on the table to spice it up though! Definitely worth a try if you are in the area!“
