We came here for an event and it was a nice place. The patio was large and plenty of heaters to keep it warm. The brisket and turkey were good, though it was just a bit dry for my liking. I enjoyed the fried okra.
My partner and I spent just $20 after tax for 2 meat plates that left us absolutely stuffed – that's an incredible value at just $10 per person! We did 2 meat plate- for the brisket and pulled pork, accompanied by sides of zucchini casserole and beans, plus 2 slices of bread. I have driven by Sammy’s for years and never took the time to stop in. My son is now living in the apartments across the street and we finally stopped in for lunch today. It was amazing BBQ, we had bit of everything. All meats and sides were great.
