“Five stars because imo it’s the best place for Mexican food in Hood County. Family owned & operated, friendly, very fast service and affordable. Even in the busiest of times you just walk in, find a table, sit where you want and they are quick to greet and serve you. They have a good lunch menu. When I order take out it’s always ready when i get there and just as good to go as dine in. Only disadvantage is closed on Sundays.Parking: Easy to pull up and park & even with a big trailer you can park on 377 with no worriesWheelchair accessibility: Parking is sufficient and they have a wheelchair ramp.”
“Lots of positive buzz around this place. So we Went on first time visit for family birthday celebration. The place is awesome, food is exquisite. Service was very good. Pricey meal although very impressive. Definitely will go again however this is one of those special occasion type meals. My husband n I shared the large rib eye ordered extra sides. (they charge $12 if they split portions on extra plate for you) ? this was plenty food for both of us.. Recommend you make reservations for prompt seating.”
“If you know me you know I'm hard on restaurants. I have high expectations. This is the first small town restaurant that is getting rave reviews from me. A+ all around.”
“Went here after a show in Granbury and it was an unexpected treasure. Great menu with lots of interesting looking burgers. Excellent food, wonderful service, and a pleasant ambiance. This isn’t fine dining, but it’s delicious food.”
“Such a fun place to stop for dinner. My wife lived in Germany for a while so this place brings back all the feels for her. Great food. I love the Wiener schnitzel. The spatzle is phenomenal as well.”
“This place is in a strange place. But don't let that fool you. The brisket was amazing, and the pulled pork was very tasty as well. We will be back when in the area again.Great job, guys.”
“Best event venue in Granbury! Besides hosting private parties and charity events, they have a great live music lineup each month. Although the outdoor area is huge but seasonal, depending on the weather, the indoor area is large with a separate room with pool tables and video games. So rain or shine, hot or cold, this place is good anytime of year!Food trucks are on-site during open hours and I have been told the food is good and very reasonable. Very large drink menu and very friendly service. Great place to watch games with a large outdoor screen and multiple screens inside. Stop and visit if you are in the area, take a step back to a simpler time and soak in the nostalgic ambiance, you will be glad you did!”
“Love Trivia Night, great and friendly crowd! Lots of regulars and they were very helpful. This was our second time to go to Trivia night. The first time we keep getting thrown off during the games but decided that we were not doing something correctly. Tonight, we thought we had the procedure down correctly but when we were into the 2nd game and had dropped from 7th place to 11th, we were thrown off again and unable to continue. As we were leaving, we were told not to use their internet as it could not handle all the people using it. Made sense but we were not aware that we were using their internet, thought it was the internet with our phone but perhaps when we scanned the code, it put us on their's, not sure. However, no one else appeared to be thrown off, just us. ( not once but twice) We love Trivia and I have played for years here and overseas. This is the only time I have ever had issues with a Trivia game. Again, important to re-state, this is a great place, friendly service and great customers but a bit of help regarding why we had these difficulties would have been greatly appreciated. We probably won't return because we have had same issue with different phones. But please go.....other than these issues, I highly recommend. The pizza looked amazing!!!”
“Stumpy's is a fun family restaurant where you can sit by the water of Lake Granbury and enjoy the food and environment.Kid-friendliness: The grandchildren always love eating here and feeding the ducks.”
“Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon while strolling the square. Very friendly and helpful bartender, John helped us find a wine to satisfy our tastes. John was knowledgeable and educated us on the differences in each year’s nuances. It was busy, but not noisy or overwhelming. A great place to relax, visit, and have conversations. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Just ate here and it was amazing!! Best prices I’ve seen in a long time for bbq on top of the bbq itself was all cooked to perfection and you get ALOT of it on anything you order!! The owner is also super friendly and personable and stood to talk to me for a bit. Loved it completely!!”
“Little hole in the wall spot. Don't pass it by without trying it!? littlerly some of the best tex mex I've had in a while. Spots a little small (geared more to go) but there is seating. Salas got a good flavor with heat at the end. Enchiladas were awesome! Cation: we like spicy and well everything had heat, ”
“"The sports bar in Granbury exceeded my expectations! The local…food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were fantastic. A perfect spot to catch the game while enjoying top-notch service and mouthwatering dishes. Highly recommend!"”
“Great service and great price for the food. Extremely affordable and the service was fantastic. Our food was out quickly. And I had an appointment to get so they were able to rush my meal despite being crowded. Definitely recommend.”
“The silver saddle saloon is one of our favorite places to visit. Both having a bar in the back, And the ice cream up front. It means that even when we are with our niece and nephew, we can enjoy both aspects. It's really fun to have a place to sit down in either. Be like Hey I want some ice cream, Or hey I want some beer.”
“Had a reservation for 12 for my wife’s birthday. We were seated where we requested and in a very timely manner. Our server, Edgar, was friendly and handle our party which included 5 children very efficiently. Our drinks were always filled and anything we asked for he provided. Our food was delicious and extremely good. The birthday song was extra special. Many thanks to Garcia’s staff for making my wife’s birthday so very special. Great service. Great value. My strongest recommendation. Thank you”
“We came in tonight to eat in the restaurant and it was very cold and we asked our waitress if we could sit outside and she said yes of course and I can still be your waitress so we went outside and had a wonderful meal and she was a doll so attentive And kind. She is a gem, and needs to be given a good raise!”
“It’s been a long while since I’ve had such great food with outstanding service!! We ordered the friend catfish and a Po boy and it had so much flavor! The portions were perfect and the price was surprisingly low. I would give 10 stars if I could! I recommend for sure!!”
“Always a positive experience. The staff are always helpful and have guided me through experimenting with different teas and flavors. My favorite is a Superboy (sugar free Superman) with extra energy.”
“We visited D’Vine Wine Granbury today and we had a great time!Wine was excellent, we took 6 bottles home, super friendly staff and loved the fact that place is dog friendly so my Rottie was happy too! Can’t wait to get back!!”
“Great place to have a cold one. Just left?there bout an hour ago after dealing with a funeral. Owners and my brother are good friends and it feels like family there. Check it out”
“Until I try the others to be sure, this is my #1 taco shop hands down, fresh grated block cheese, in house tortillas, speedy service and clean store! Packed full of flavor (and fresh ingredients) at more than reasonable prices has my becoming a very loyal customer.”
“Wow! The Boneless Wings meal is delish!! The watermelon lemonade hit the spot also .Service was good . Ya gotta try it !!❤️Glad to have a place like this in Granbury.Parking: At Walmart so parking is always availableWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchaira”
“The bacon, avocado, and tomato sandwich was really, really good. My husband and I shared it, then each of us had a scoop of ice cream. He had maple pecan, and I had the raspberry goat cheese. Both were excellent!Parking: There is plenty of parking behind the shop.”
“I love this place! It's very clean and organized. This is very affordable. It's .65 cents a gallon. I had 5 jugs I wanted to fill 5 gallons each. It was only $16.25 plus tax. We always have emergency water on hand for us and our pets and have used them on several occasions including last winter when pipes froze and this year some of our neighbors were without water due to repairs. It also saves having to recycle countless water bottles. There was an elder gentleman that taught us how to do it. Inside they sell several different flavors of tea which you can sample before you buy. They had quite a few delicious flavors! My hubby bought 1/2 gallon of tea! They also have a variety of snack mixes that were addictive! They also sell water bottle caps which is convenient. You simply drive up to one of the pumps like a gas station, place your empty bottle on the pillar and the hoses are above your head. Ask for assistance if it's your 1st time and they're more than happy to help! They're open Mon-Sat 9am-6pm closed on Sundays. I read another review that said you can self serve after hours. I didn't know that so I'll have to inquire about that next time I go. Don't forget to go inside and browse around at the teas and snack mixes!”
“Funky mushroom thyme pizza was incredible . It’s hard to describe or compare, because of the amazing flavors of the ingredients combined, and how it is cooked. The most distinct difference is the unique taste of the wood fire oven, that makes the crust of the pizza crispy outside and firm inside. It is an in hole in the wall place to not be missed. You can have two flavors in one pizza by request. Cash Only and BYOB.”
“This place shines because of two important ingredients: the views and the wine. There is an amazing patio area with with beautiful view of the countryside. All you need is wine in hand and that can definitely be arranged here. My favorite wine is the Nexus. The Nexus is a sweet red wine that has hints of berry flavors and a lot of depth so not your average sweet red. I took a bottle of this one for the road and definitely have no plans on sharing it. I also loved the Paragon. It's a fruity red wine that tastes of pears and apples but it's not very sweet. It has a fuller finish and is quite smooth. I'll definitely be returning soon for more wine.”
“The food quality has dropped off over the last few months. The chicken is not as tasty as it used to be. The green beans were burnt and had a twang taste to them.”
“This is pretty much a regular for us. We were initially drawn in by the free margaritas (yes, free), but this place is our Wednesday haunt. Food is great, but stick to the Tex Mex (enchiladas, rellenos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas). Their Anerican food is ok.”
“Some legitimate BBQ out here! Brisket is really good, pulled pork is excellent, ribs are tender, juicy, and flavorful, smoked bologna is the bomb, sausage, turkey and sides are excellent, including amazing beans, killer hatch mac n cheese, and the deserts! OMG! Oh, and check that brisket smash burger! So good! Open until they sell out, so get there early.Parking: Park behind in the DPS lot”
