Checked this place out due to the reviews being the best in Granbury as far as Mexican food goes. Without a doubt this restaurant delivers! The service is great and the owner Polo was very hospitable. The establishment is clean and the food was incredible. I personally enjoyed the Chorizo breakfast burrito as it had a good balance of each ingredient, and Polo even hooked it up with some sample trompo tacos which were fantastic. We ordered mixed tacos , Barbacoa tacos and asada fries. The food is amazing .. totally worth the drive. A few minutes south of the square and is easy to get there. The staff are very friendly and helpful when deciding what to order.

Always a pleasure coming here. The service is great and the staff are friendly. They cone and talk with us and ensure our food is to our liking and I appreciate the above and beyond attitude. The Tacos Mixtos are amazing, the Barbacoa for melts in your mouth, and the Agua Frescas are out of this world! I am a San Diego, California girl and we don’t play about our tacos. Taqueria el sabor de México is considered by many to have the best authentic Mexican food in Granbury. The restaurant delivers incredible food and great service. The owner is very hospitable, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and kind. They ensure food is to the liking of guests and provide an above and beyond attitude. The establishment is clean, spotless, and inviting, though it is off the beaten path and a few minutes south of the square.
The food is amazing, outstanding, and delicious. The Chorizo breakfast burrito has a good balance of each ingredient. The trompo tacos are fantastic. The mixed tacos, Barbacoa tacos, and asada fries are amazing. The Tacos Mixtos are amazing, the Barbacoa melts in your mouth, and the Agua Frescas are out of this world. The carne asada mini tacos with the chorizo meat are so good. The homemade salsa is top notch, and the charro beans are delicious. This place is legit and is recommended for anyone not looking for a standard Tex-Mex and a more authentic Mexican Cuisine.
