We've rounded up Cleburne's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“Do you want to try a craving like in Mexico? This is your place. They accept payment by card and the best thing is, they speak Spanish without discrimination. Yes, the prices are not like those in Mexico, they are higher. But it is worth paying for the corn with cream and sauce and so you prefer to buy some fried ones. With cueritos you can make it and serve it to your liking. There is a great variety of Mexican products in this store and products made by themselves.“
“I really enjoyed the food here! The chips were crunchy and perfectly salted. There were two tasty salsas that accompanied the chips -- both homemade and one HOT! I ordered the Chile Relleno with refried beans and rice. The relleno was really good. It was covered in a queso sauce that reminded me of Rotel (in a good way!). I was not a fan of the refried beans, but others at my table were. The staff was over-the-top friendly and accommodating. Our waitress, Karina, was a living doll. The interior was dated, and there were TVs EVERYWHERE (which thrilled the man who was with our party). Menu was large. Prices were on the higher end of average. I took off one star because the restrooms smelled like they had been cleaned with a sour mop. That won't keep me from going back!Kid-friendliness: Staff is very accommodating.“
“Nice, clean, quiet restaurant. Had plenty of room for our ladies' get together. Chips and salsa were tasty, slightly spicy. I had the Pollo Con Verduras that came with rice and beans. Main entre had big chunks of tender, juicy, white meat chicken, sauteed peppers, onion, zucchini, spinach and mushrooms with flour tortillas, lettuce and guacamole. The rice and refried were good. All tasted fresh. I also ordered a chicken flauta to try it and look forward to ordering again. Our server was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.“
“This is a home cooked meal type place. It has been in cleburne for years! Always great food and worth coming back to. The decor has much of cleburnes history on it with the rail road and trains plastered every where. I will say the used to have a train going around the top trim that went in tunnels and thelastti.e I went I was not going around. That was kind of disappointing being I loved to show my littles this when we would go.“
“Read where someone was mad they don't speak English. Every person I spoke to did, though I also speak Spanish. Their meat market is outstanding. They sell organ meat, too, which we've started feeding our dogs. The tacos from the restaurant were amazing, and the refried beans are LEGIT! Unlike others, I can tell the difference between taxes and what was TAXABLE. ?♂️ When they DIDN'T have some heart and kidney available, the SUPER NICE gentleman from behind the counter offered and is BRINGING tomorrow. I'll be back, especially when it comes time to buy more chillies for my homemade Texas Bowl of Red.“
“'Went in for the first time about a week ago from a recommendation from a fellow Hispanic coworker. Had a brisket burrito, only 5 bucks! Very tasty. This is coming from a guy whose home food is as authentic and seasoned to perfection, as if I just had lunch before crossing the border(legally, of course). LolHad the barbacoa burrito today. Did not disappoint and the perfect "sleeping pill" after a shot of "to kill ya"(tequila) chased by a sour soda(cold beer). Also the young man working the register; good sense of humor, leaves you with positive thoughts and blessings.“
“So good!!!!!!!The tacos de Carne asada with the green salsa reminded my mom and I of actual Mexican tacos. The atole of pecan was perfect to help with the spice!! Delicious!!! The horachat was sweet and well balanced flavor!! I am pregnant and am picky you know how it is. I highly recommend this place!!! We got an elote with the works and it was loaded!! The super raspa was great, we got it without gummy bears.Come visit!!! It's not expensive!! Definitely coming back!!!!“
“It was my first time and a recommendation, since I arrived with my wife, the service was super, the drinks and And the food, not to mention the taste, is delicious, the employees are super friendly and attentive, I recommend it 1001%, I will return again this week.“
“Fine Dining for a small town like Keene TX. Cute lil Mexican Restaurant. Order here for lunch occasionally when I can afford to. Atmosphere walking through the front doors is like a rush of fresh air. Employees and Staff are friendly and respectful. Prices are reasonable.“
“I ordered eggs, avocado and potatoes without any tortillas corn or flour. The Receptionist/hostess was fine with the order however, it seems that the kitchen wasn't. However, I like the honesty of the young lady at the reception/cashier/hostess.“
“Food was bussin bussin and cheap! ?The staff was really nice and for how fast the food came out, I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. Also, if you eat in, you get free chips with a good selection of salsas from their salsa bar! Try the Aguas frescas too! I got horchata and it was yummy. Plenty of options all around and really good!Vegetarian options: There are things vegetarians can eat, but nothing clearly labeled.“
