“I can’t say enough good things about this place. We celebrated a friends birthday in their private dining area. The service from Alexis and Juan were beyond my expectations. The food was amazing: fried nopales, chorizo, guacamole, filet, Chile relleno, mole enchiladas, and so much more. Oh! And the drinks… the amazing crafted cocktails. 10/10 for this place. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Super quality food. Great service! It was a busy night, so we had to wait 30 min approx. But the time went fast. The crowd made the restaurant noisier than usual but still at a level we could converse without raising voices.

“My husband and I just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary today and decided to try Mesero. We were not disappointed! Vanessa was our server and she was so sweet and funny! Everything was amazing, from the Cascada margaritas and Old Fashion and chilled/dressed tequila shots, to the entrees and that AMAAAZING carrot cake! We had a rounded corner booth all to ourselves. It was just a great experience all around. We will definitely be back and would love to see Vanessa again!“

“While I didn't get a chance to actually eat here, I was able to experience the staff. And they are 5 stars. Especially the bartender (i wish I could have caught his name (mind was elsewhere). He was working sunday, dec 1). We were out of town looking for specific food for a friend of ours who we were visiting while she was in hospice. I asked her if there was a specific food she wanted, and she said street tacos. I found this place on Google and went here, but they didn't have street tacos, but he did point me to this little local place about 15 min away, and he was right, great street tacos. We will be forever grateful to him for helping us get her, her last real non hospital meal, while she could still eat. The smile on her face when she took her little bites was able to eat was heartwarming.“

I'm from the RGV and my so picky when it comes to Mexican food. I've been here a year and only found 3 places that are genuinely good and this one is at the #1 place on my list!
The food is flavorful, the tortilla are great. Loved the salsas! Definitely will be coming back.“

“Stopped in Saturday for a pozole date - I’m always in search of a good bowl of pozole. Made sure to beat the crowd on Saturday morning and that we did. Arrived a little after 930 and were quickly greeted, order thanks then seated (which was out of order for me). I already knew I wanted pozole so didn’t need to look at the menu BUT if this is your first time or want to browse the menu, this can be a little much since it felt VERY RUSHED.
Naomi was our waitress and she was wonderful. Checked on us often and returned with our requests promptly.
Pozole was delicious! Loaded with tons of meat and the broth was bursting with flavor. There was a small container of salsa we each got and I figured it was for the chips…NOT - it was more of a chile de aceite and didn’t play! I like spicy so added it to the broth so I could sweat and get the sniffles. Haha.
All in all, delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend for a non peak time - as we were leaving it was PACKED!
Parking is a bit chaotic in this little shopping center but luckily there is a lot across the street specifically for this place.
Parking: Limited/hard to find parking in front of the restaurant but a small lot on the west side of the building specifically for this restaurant.“

The chips and salsa was just right for beginners and my entree pictured here was the Pick 2: Green Hatch Chile Brisket Enchiladas. The portions are nice sized too. I highly recommend coming here with friends and family.“

The big thing though is my daughter accidentally ate a jalapeño and it was super spicy to a 2 year old, the staff made her a churro to cheer her up, without being asked or prompted, the employee just noticed she was really upset and I very much appreciated it.
