“Let me start by saying I am a super picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food. We never eat out on a week day but my son and I were exhausted and I did not have it in me to cook today or to drive out of the area we live in during traffic hours. He couldn’t even believe we were dining out on a week day lol. I remembered this place since I’ve driven by so many times and was convinced to try it since it had good reviews on google. I was very pleasantly surprised, everything was great! The food was yummy from the chips & salsa to the entrees, (I had the shrimp in diablo sauce and my son had gorditas) and it was nice, clean, and cozy. The gentleman who served us was super attentive and friendly. We will be back.“

If you want actual good Mexican food and not that taco bell or other fast food junk, then just go to Taqueria Taco Express. They also have some awesome fresh made fruit drinks that are so delicious. Don't forget their deserts!! Be warned their quesadilla is for 2 people. I did half Chicken (Pollo) and half Pork (Al pastor) and yes I have left overs.“

“mexican inn is good ( hurst area ) but i’m sure this location is as well BUT i had a problem that they act like they couldn’t fix without the manger and im a manger myself for fast food and this problem didn’t necessarily involve a manger
i was missing an item and called for 2days could never get in touch with the manger“

“🥰👍The Mexican Inn Café – As a recent homeowner in the Fairmount Historical district of Fort Worth, Texas and needing a caterer for a Birthday celebration I searched yelp* with way too many choices. After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. Thank you Annette for making my chose an excellent one – You are Amazing.“

The food and drinks and atmosphere were all amazing as well! Every staff member we encountered were genuinely kind and respectful and they all strived to do their jobs well! Our waiter, Scott, was the most personable and kind person! He’s the kind of person that you have a short encounter with, but that encounter has a long lasting impact on your life. “We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“
