“Not only was the inside this restaurant beautiful, The staff was absolutely friendly and the food was so delicious my friends and I all ordered mixed drinks as well and they were so good we were shocked. I cannot believe this places has been given bad reviews we had the best lunch ever and I will be coming back real soon!“
“The best place around to get authentic great tasting food. I moved to the area and found Tortilleria Tepito shortly after... I've been coming by, at minimum, once a week.Their pastor is flavorful. I get it in tacos, tortas, quesadillas -- everything.Great selection of beverages and their tortilla chips are perfectly crunchy.I truly love this place so don't skip over it.The staff now know me and whenever I come in they have already started my order.“
“Great awesome food!! Down to earth people very nice people, feels like Familia!! We love it fresh homemade tortillas and fresh menudo and tacos. Open on weekends great area nice country side so calming quiet and just countryside landscape. We love it and we will be back!! Great chicharrones!!!?“
“My granny and I ate a late lunch here today. She has been many times before but today was my first experience. Everything was great! They were pretty busy but our server, Earl, was spot on. Our meal was served quickly and it was delicious. The salsa was just spicy enough and the queso was cheesy perfection. I will bring the family back for sure.“
“La Gringa is my favorite meal it’s very delicious ? it’s a big taco made of a big flour burrito tortilla melted white cheese your choose of meat cilantro, avocado, and on the side saute onions and lime. I always get barbacoa for the meat you should try it. i drove 32 min for it There green hot sauce very good been coming to this place before it remodeled when it was named Tacote I recommend this place to my friends/family“
“Really excellent food, decently priced. I enjoyed that they had chicken options, as well as steak, rather than just ground beef on many menu items. We had friendly and fast service even in their last hour of being open, and even on a holiday. Thank you!!!“
“Food was bussin bussin and cheap! ?The staff was really nice and for how fast the food came out, I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. Also, if you eat in, you get free chips with a good selection of salsas from their salsa bar! Try the Aguas frescas too! I got horchata and it was yummy. Plenty of options all around and really good!Vegetarian options: There are things vegetarians can eat, but nothing clearly labeled.“
“When I tell you I absolutely loveeee this place! The food & drinks are awesome! If you ever go here ask for a server name CHOLE! She was sooooo nice, very attentive and so bubbly with a smiling face her customer service made sure our experience was everything servers are just not so nice these days so i definitely wanted to share & give kuddos because she was awesome we will definitely be back soon!“
“I really enjoyed the food here! The chips were crunchy and perfectly salted. There were two tasty salsas that accompanied the chips -- both homemade and one HOT! I ordered the Chile Relleno with refried beans and rice. The relleno was really good. It was covered in a queso sauce that reminded me of Rotel (in a good way!). I was not a fan of the refried beans, but others at my table were. The staff was over-the-top friendly and accommodating. Our waitress, Karina, was a living doll. The interior was dated, and there were TVs EVERYWHERE (which thrilled the man who was with our party). Menu was large. Prices were on the higher end of average. I took off one star because the restrooms smelled like they had been cleaned with a sour mop. That won't keep me from going back!Kid-friendliness: Staff is very accommodating.“
“I come from Waco where I was blessed with 3 Amazing/authentic Mexican restaurants. Since moving to Mansfield 10 years ago, I haven't been able to find a place that adds up to the quality and tast of What Waco had to offer. I been to Cleburne, burleson, Grand prairie, Arlington so on and so forth..... Nothing.I tried this place out of curiosity. It is as good and even better then the restaurants in Waco. The burritos are phemoninal and the tortillas are home made. The salsa is some of the best I've ever had in Texas. The young lady at the window is always so kind, pleasant and helpful. The only down side is the have no indoor sitting and the place is right down the street from my house so I'll have trouble not going everyday. Joshua Texas is blessed to have this little Jewel in the Wall!“
