“Every time I go, I find a 'new' favorite. Quesabirria plate is my favorite this week. The food's great, you won't be disappointed and is so pretty inside, like going into a museum of Mexican art. The environment is so nice and people who work there, very friendly.“

“We were looking to try something new. La Mesa was pretty good. Lindsey is a great waitress and offered great recommendations. The food style reminded me a lot of Frijoles, but that's fine. The menu was smaller, but they offered all the staples. We split the enchilada trio with borracho beans. The beef enchilada in green sauce was our favorite. The atmosphere/dining experience was great. Love how spacious and comfortable everything is. 8 out of 10 Definitely will consider coming out here again next time we are in Joshua.“

“December 29th I went to Fast Taco in Joshua Texas got home my order was wrong called a very pleasant young man answered he told me he was waiting for my phone call he knew right away my order was wrong he said I was welcome to come back and they would make it right and they did I returned December 30 and a young lady was Justice Pleasant she helped me get my order I told her to let the manager know what great service I got from both of them I didn't get no names but thank you best taco from great customer service.“

“After driving by this place numerous times, my wife and I decided to finally get some food here. I had the enchiladas and she had California burrito. Let me just say that this California burrito rivals anything you will find in DFW. Including Bad Ass Burritos in Saginaw. The enchiladas were average to be honest. So we're the tamales but really sets this food off is the salsa bar. All the sauces are made in house and above average. The service was great. Friendly and we got our food fast. I recommend getting the food to go. The inside was warm but not unbearable. There isn't much of a dining room either. Pretty simple lay out. All in all not bad. Better then average but still not the best of the best. I recommend this lace for a fast place to grab some good Mexican food on the go.“

“My husband, baby girl, and I had a GREAT experience at Roasted Chix!! My husband is a picky eater, so he ordered the burger. The owner brought him two different tacos to try for free so he wouldn’t have to purchase anything he was unsure about. They are so kind and the food is amazing. “the food is great but I don't understand why when we sit in the bar area they never bring napkins or water. A good server should always greet you with water prior to ordering anything. at the very least bring the water with the other drinks ordered and then when you bring chips and salsa also bring napkins. water and napkins is something people should never have to ask for at a restaurant“

“Best tortilla I’ve ever had for a burrito. Bacon was nice and crispy.

They have a chipotle style bar to put what you want on your burrito. 4$ for meat & egg or $4.50 for meat/potato, cheese, & egg. Plus you can add beans, rice, etc.

They have a drink fridge next to the line or freezer coffee on the seated side.

Bomb green sauce too put on & red sauce if you like that too. Overall great breakfast spot for authentic breakfast burritos.“

“We went on Wednesday 1/14/26. There was 4 of us, we each had the fajitas for 2, we were a little nervous when we went in because we were the only ones there. As we were leaving it was filling up! Let me tell ya, that was the best fajitas that we’ve had in a long time, tender beef, good size shrimp and vegetables cooked perfect, even with a little squash. Service was great also. We had a fantastic experience at Barrera's! The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made some of the best margaritas and carajillos we've had in a long time. Even during a busy shift, service was quick and professional, and they made everyone at the bar feel welcome. Great drinks, great attitude, and excellent customer service.
