Drove from Alabama to visit the in-laws. La Popular is always a must any time we are in Abilene.It was packed out on Black Friday, took a while to order and get our food, but it was well worth the wait!Their tortillas are the best!
Great place to stop for breakfas or lunch. There is a large selection options for breakfast tacos. As well as lunch plates. The portions are large and the salsa both red and green are great. This is a fast and affordable spot for breakfast and lunch.

If I could eat here every single day, I WOULD!! My favorites are the Carne guisada burritos or the Carne guisada plate that comes with beans and rice and enough meat for THREE burritos. I also love their bean and egg burritos!! Their beans are so delicious and the eggs are soft and fluffy and SO YUMMY!! BEST BREAKFAST/LUNCH BURRITOS IN TOWN!!!
