“OK, let me start by saying I do not like burgers particularly BUT THIS place has amazing burgers! The service was great. It was very Texas, meaning it was pretty loud and noisy but tolerable. We both had the bacon cheeseburger . I had onion rings ans my daughter had fries. The onion rings were phenomenal! The batter stayed together and the flavor was delicious. The jalapeño ketchup was terrific! If they ask if you want to try it, the answer is yes! I will go back. They have a lot of differnt things to try. One thing to note. You will wait. I think we weed about 15 minutes after sitting. But definitely worth it.”

“OK I don’t rave about places often, but Winchester Pub and Grill is on point! Yes, it’s a pub / grill and the food is humble, a tiny bit pricey, but man is it worth it! We went in for lunch and had the smoked bacon wrapped peppers, two drinks, I had the shaved ribeye with onion rings (SOOOOO many onion rings!), my husband had the 12-piece wings (way bigger than Wingstop wings) with sweet potato waffle fries. The bill was around $55 for all of it. I have never had a "ribeye" sandwich before that was really ribeye, but this was! so tender and juicy and not chewy or grizzly at all! I could only eat half of it; it was so big! We both brought enough food home for dinner too! This thing was over 8 inches long. We are from Buffalo NY and my husband said the "buffalo wings" were spot on. The smoked bacon wrapped peppers? OMG sooooooo good! THICK slices of bacon, you could taste the smoke and even with the generous sized pepper the bacon covered the whole thing. I scarfed them down so fast I got the picture after I had already eaten a few lol. The only tiny issue I had was the onion rings and waffle fries were cooked just a tad browner than I like them but it was no real biggie. All in all, great food, prices were good for the value they give, and the owner is a wonderful lady who dotes on you the whole time you are there! GO!!!”

“Best boudin I’ve ever had! Very light blueberry fritter. Still fresh after sitting in its paper bag all day. Vanilla bean iced drink hit the spot. I’ll be back tomorrow for more boudin in a blanket. First time there. What a great find!”

“Its a nice little business with 2 picnic tables out front. Seemed to be no dine-in, you only order and sit and wait for it to be ready. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the 2 meat combo with potato salad and pinto beans. I will say that there were at least 4 cars parked ahead of us that were waiting for their orders. We had a wait of at least 30 to 45 minutes. But its totally understandable because it was just a sweet lady working on orders alone. However I can say that the food was way worth the wait. Everything was delicious. I've been looking for a good place that has some good BBQ like this in Abilene for awhile and I finally found it.”
