I had the Chile Rellano plate for lunch. The taste was OK but the plate was very soupy. Hot sauce was just ho-hum and not much spice or tanginess to it. A big issue that I had, and may just be a pet peeve of mine but for a single customer I was charged automatic gratuity and wasn’t given a receipt until I asked for it so please be aware this place will automatically add gratuity so there’s no need to leave a tip. They’re gonna take it from you automatically whether they deserve it or not, OK I’m off my soapbox and this place is OK but there are a few other local places that I would consider much better.And PS there is no longer a taco bar/buffet on taco Tuesdays

Some of the best Mexican food we have eaten in quite some time, and very friendly folks, will definitely eat there again when we travel to Abilene!

Fist time trying them. Food was delicious!! I always have to add salt for some flavor but this place I didn't have to. Waitstaff was very nice. Will be returning that's for sure!!

First time here, and wow, how I was surprised at just how everything was delicious! I would have posted some pics, but I couldn't stop eating! If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant with delicious food this is the spot!

GREAT SERVICE AND EVEN BETTER FOOD!! From the time we walked in until we left we were treated like family! The food was delicious!!

Served soured Agua Fresca and didn’t seem to care when I addressed it. Had to ask for hot sauce bowls in return received ONE small palm size bowl for three people. Had one glass of Dr Pepper before they said they were out. Ordered combo fajitas and didn't get the chicken the waitress said it was already being cooked and then after waiting another waitress said they were out of chicken. The fajitas had NO grilled PEPPERS and the QUESO also NOT like pictured by others. It was watered down nacho cheese!I could understand the service we received if it was close to closing, but they just opened! They open at 11 we arrived at 11:15.

We went today for lunch. This is family owned so the owner greeted us with a smile! So friendly and the food was amazing! Everything is homemade and fresh! I had the fajitas and they are the best I've had! A+ for food service and atmosphere!

This place is always very hospitable! Great food! Haven’t eaten anything here I wouldn’t recommend to someone. They’ll definitely keep me fed!

I was told that it was buffet only when we entered the restaurant. There were customers who had obviously ordered from the menu. We observed there food coming directly from the kitchen. The food on the buffet was so, so. Nothing I would want to return for. They charged me $4.00 for a bottle of Sprite, and another $3.00 + for using my debit card! I did still tip our server, as I know this wasn't on her. She did a great job. I definitely will not return for the food.

Half of us had the Tuesday taco bar and the other half ordered from the menu. Everything was great! Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Husband LOVES it. I like it, still not made my mind up yet. Service is good, food is good, just have not tried everything to decide. But we go once a week.
