I come here every 6 months or so and the fish is a hit or miss. The last time I went they were already closed by the time I arrived at 810 PM - even though their hours say 11 AM - 9 PM.
Went by again yesterday at 740 PM and they told me they were closing early due to no customers so I couldn’t be served. Then they told the guy right behind me the same thing.
So they’re turning away customers due to no customers coming in. Makes sense to me!!
Sounds like the staff is lazy and rather go home early instead of doing their job. I won’t be stopping in again.

Nicole was my waitress and very cheerful, respectful and all around inviting energy. The all u can eat shrimp was an abundance for such a cheap price. The place was clean, comfortable and overall a great hole in the wall type vibe

Wonderful little place with great catfish. Went with a large group from work. The waiter was polite and attended to our every need. The food came out quickly and everything was just as each of us had ordered. I will definately be going back when I'm in town

We have eaten here a few times in the past 3 1/2 years. Sometimes it's better than others as with any restaurant. The fact that we keep coming back says something. I don't remember our server's name, but she was on top of her game even though they were very busy. We'll definitely be back again.

I drove from Fort Worth to Abilene to see a performance of THE BOOK OF MORMON at the Abilene Convention Center. Sadly, the performance was suddenly cancelled without notice!
Luckily the food here was good and the service was excellent!

So disappointed on how I was treated by a couple of waitresses there, I would never thought, attitude, not one smile, talked real down too customer, than as I was paying for my meal, asked the waitress can I have my receipt, she said receipt in your bag, no receipt in bag, so I went back an asked for my receipt, this waitress made me stand there waiting for at least 10-15 minutes, when she finally came out from the back, she throws her hands up an say there's no receipt, so I asked her what's your name, she told me her name with a smart remark afterwards!!! Back in the, when I used have lunch or dinner at cat fish corner, I never been treated like that by staff!!!!! I'm so disappointed in their customers service I hope they work on their customers service and people skills in the future, don't ruin catfish corner legacy please 🥺

Never been here before but heard good things about the quality of the food. Location has awkward parking right off Treadway and the side parking is super close to one another. Important because this place filled up quick and parking was limited. Not the best layout for dinning, looks like they just put as many tables and chairs into the area as possible. The widow on full blast, sit up close you get frozen out, but sit further back and the place is hot. Huge portions of food with higher costs than expected. $18 for a bacon cheese burger that in my opinion was not worth it. The jalapeño hush puppies were great and highly recommended. Onion rings were huge and tasted great also. Fried pickles and fried bacon were ok. Service was average at best.
