My family and I got to experience a wonderful staff and the the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the facility was clean. Overall definitely a 5 star and will return.

In town running some errands and wanted some chicken. Jackie on drive thru helped me out and was the example of great customer service. Drove 20 min home to find my chicken thoroughly cooked, seasoned perfectly and my day made with an easy meal.
Driving in from Hawley Sunday evening about 6:10, placed my order, added 2sets of poppers. The girl working the drive-thru was a little rude and could barely understand her on the speaker. Drove up to the window, gave me the total, I paid and got the drinks and a bag of food. I asked her if the poppers were in the bag and she replied” Their in there “ in her rude tone, drove back to my house twenty miles away, and my poppers were not in the bag. Chicken Express needs to do better, I did go out of my way to go to them, I past about 5-7 restaurants to choose from. My next trip to Abilene for food will not be Chicken Express.

I would like to start off with saying that I know if I make this post I may get some backlash, but I don’t care. This is my opinion frankly chicken express has been one of my favorite places to eat at. I love the food. I love the service. The staff is always wonderful so I have no problems with those things. The only thing I’m worried about now is chicken express is the highest chicken place in town. I just believe that it’s way overpriced now it’s so much to buy chicken specially chicken tenders. It just doesn’t make sense, but since prices is going up and everybody blames it on the economy, I just had to slow down my spending at chicken express because the things they are getting way too high for me personally to eat all the time if if I go eat there, I’ll just go treat myself you know maybe once or twice But yeah, the prices wouldn’t outrageous. I’d be there two or three times a week but besides that everything else is wonderful. I don’t know what they think the chicken is made out of gold. It’s not the staff at the restaurant is the company the headquarters that makes the prices so I understand that part so but friendly service everything else is wonderful. I just wanted to add that that it’s kinda way overpriced chicken thanks

This has been my new spot when I decide to eat lunch at work. Their fish fillets are good. The line can be long, but I'll take that any day when I know my food will be fresh.
The lady who takes the orders is always very friendly, and she comes out to take payments, bring food out to those in line that food is prepared before others to keep the line going.
The whole team is friendly and professional.
My only suggestion is to change the tartar sauce.

If you're in the mood for some refreshing iced tea, you'll definitely want to think twice before choosing chicken Express as your destination. I had high hopes for a quick pitstop to quench my thirst, but my experience turned into an excursion in patience that I wasn’t quite prepared for.
Upon pulling into the drive-through, I immediately noticed a small line. "No problem," I thought, knowing that at popular spots, a little wait can sometimes be worth it. However, after what felt like an eternity of idling, a 30-minute wait became my reality as I watched the car in front of me slowly trickle through the ordering process.
Around the 15-minute mark, I finally reached the speaker. After attempting to place my tea order, the system seemed totally unresponsive. Frustrated but hopeful, I decided to move forward to the window and order face-to-face—it's just tea, after all! To my dismay, when I reached the window, the staff seemed confused, asking if I’d completed my order at the speaker. I explained the glitches I’d encountered, expecting a friendly workaround, but to my dismay I was met with a disgruntled manager. I was informed that I needed to use the speaker next time because it messed up their que. I can completely understand for food orders but all I needed was tea. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and the attitude of the employee. I left without my order since it was too much of a hassle for their system.

I had an issue with my chicken being undercooked. I called the restaurant but the manager was being rude and over talking me. I just hung up. I took the food back to the restaurant and he still was doing the same thing. He remade the order but the tenders was still under cooked. I wasn’t going to argue with him. I just went to my car to plan lunch else were. Another manager came out and said she wanted to make it right. She was so nice but I didn’t ask her name. She made it right. I don’t know why the other manager was acting so defensive and rude but the lady that helped me was amazing! She went above and beyond.
