My wife and I dined at Abilene's Cracker Barrel this past Tuesday (16 December) around 7:30 p.m. Our server, Cami C., was attentive to us early on, however after taking our order, we saw that she was pulled to help more with the Door Dash and other pick-up orders. We didn't understand that, but we know that sales are sales $$$. Anyway, the wait for the food was a bit long, however when it was brought it was very hot and not the "under the lamp" hot. Cami apologized for that wait. The food was delicious and filling. Cami did apologize again when she brought the bill. Overall, good time and good service. I do recommend Cracker Barrel for dinner (or supper) and highly suggest going during "Early Bird"-5:30--6:30 p.m. time.
Didn't like this place before, but new menu is definitely an improvement.

I love cracker barrel but maybe thanksgiving day wasn't the best time to go. The special thanksgiving meal was sooo dry. We had a reservation but had to wait another 20 minutes. We didn't get our biscuits until we were all done.
I'm grateful they were open and we had a place to eat. They were so busy that the service was lacking.

Our server was exceptional! Very attentive and brought out drinks and food Very fast. He made sure to check on us and make sure we were always doing good. Exceptional service. I can't remember his name, Lenny? But excellent service.

Our server was great and the food as always was great. This is our 50+ stay over as full time campers. Thanks Cracker Barrel we love to be able to have a great safe place to stay and get a home cooked meal.
