Breakfast was immaculate. The coffee was extremely weak and not worth the price. I was charged $2.20 for about half a cup, and the quality didn’t match the cost.

Needs improvement. Hash browns tasted like rubber and terrible. Portions were small for two adults and a toddler that came to over $50. If you're not a local you won't be welcome here is the vibe we got. Always nice to the people who handling my food but won't be coming back to this place.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant as we recently moved to Abilene. When we open the door the staff acted like they got bother by our presence. The waitress was unfriendly brought our food turns around so fast we didn't have a chance to ask her for extra napkins. She never came back with extra ones or ask if we needed something else. We had to stop her on her way to go to another table for more water. We did not leave a tip and we'll never come back to this place! By the way the food was cheap made

Abilene’s oldest and most reliable Restaurant. The charm, camaraderie, food, and folks make this place a magical trip back in time. The lunch specials are wonderful and you can’t beat the breakfast! If you are looking for mimosas, frittatas, a half-caf soy latte with a whisper or cinnamon, or eggs Benedict with egg whites and avocado, look elsewhere. For a good old fashioned breakfast, at a good price, look here! Awesome biscuits and rolls! Friendly service!

Absolutely awful experience. The eggs had to be something instant that were just absolutely no flavor. The bacon was greasy, not crisp and tasted a wild taste like it came from a bore hog. The hashbrowns were so tough. I couldn’t even chew through them. I asked for biscuits and got dinner rolls instead. The service was OK, but certainly not cordial and inviting nothing you would wanna go to. I’ll try to go to the bathroom which was way back in the back behind the kitchen and it did not smell good and was not well. Kept as the whole operation needs to be bulldozed and taken down. It’s old. It’s been there well over 70 years. Nearly $50 for a totally disappointing wasted day..
