Abilene’s oldest and most reliable
Restaurant. The charm, camaraderie, food, and folks make this place a magical trip back in time. The lunch specials are wonderful and you can’t beat the breakfast! If you are looking for mimosas, frittatas, a half-caf soy latte with a whisper or cinnamon, or eggs Benedict with egg whites and avocado, look elsewhere. For a good old fashioned breakfast, at a good price, look here! Awesome biscuits and rolls! Friendly service!
My boyfriend and I love this place! We come here all the time for breakfast and service & food are always 10/10, we receive service almost immediately & the food never takes long. Anytime we don’t like the food the staff always takes it back no problem & provides us with fresh new food, and they are all so kind to everyone that enters. Definitely recommend!
Don't know how this place had a 4.3 rating.. wait staff provided drinks and menus right away, even came back and took our order promptly. After food was delivered, never came back to check on us at all. The hash browns were stale, tasted very old: pancakes had add taste and were tough. Bacon, eggs and sausage were ordinary. Not what I would call an above average restaurant. Oh and by the way, they are cash only. It is posted in the door but not real noticible.
