Doc's is always a good time. Very friendly staff, large beer selection and good food. Excellent food specials throughout the week and the bar is always hopping on Thursday nights for karaoke with DJ Lowell.

Went in walked all the way to the back looking for seating walked back to the front, sat down and waited over 7 minutes and no one came over. No one acknowledged us walking in front of the bar. My daughter said the server looked up while helping the table in front and just kept walking. WE WALKED OUT!!!! Won't be going back!!!!!

So, we just had what we felt was a pleasant evening with friends at Doc's... an establishment where we will NEVER again spend our hard earned money. There were 6 of us sitting at the table(3 individual couples/separate bills), and for that reason they felt it necessary to charge their patrons a MANDATORY 18% gratuity. There is no warning or signage stating this is a mandatory occurrence for tables of 6. Not to mention that we had to ask for our water twice, another drink twice, and get the waitstaff's attention from across the room on a couple of occasions. I don't blame the waitress for this. Not that they were super busy, and she was really nice, but if her training was done here... it was lacking. When we brought the EIGHTEEN PERCENT GRATUITY to the waitresses attention, she got her manager who, in turn, asked Dr. Victor Hudman (owner) to reverse the EIGHTEEN PERCENT GRATUITY. Well , kids ... he REFUSED to reverse that charge... REALLY????????? So, here's the deal... 2 of the 3 couples at our table didn't notice the gratuity, 1 paid the gratuity PLUS a TIP and the other couple was about to pay the FULL gratuity PLUS a tip... BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T NOTICE THE GRATUITY Y'ALL!!!! This is what they are banking on! You get a big group of friends together, go to the bar, get tipsy & pay a big ass bill without even knowing what you're paying. It's a shame, we really liked that place. LOOK AT YOUR BILL!!!!!!!! Also... the waitstaff probably isn't even getting any of it!!!!

Ordered the catfish plate. Lots of grey belly meat on the fish. No hush puppies or fries came with the meal. The coleslaw was tasteless. The beans were very good though.

They are way to busy and under staffed.Came in to eat something. Had a beer and left.The place is hard to find the driveway "if you can call it that". I've traveled better goat paths.

The wife and I drove out there tonight. We Gave the special (chicken fried steak) a try. We was pleasantly surprised , the chicken fried steak was on point. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also delicious. Service by Leann was awesome.
The food was alright but the service was good! It's an interesting atmosphere.... The parking lot is all gravel and there is a large outdoor space. When you walk in you seat yourself but it's not really obvious that you're supposed to do that. You can take your family here but it's kind of just one big open space that is the bar and the restaurant area. The bbq cheese fries appetizer was good but the entrees were not worth it.

Love this family friendly restaurant/bar and the people from staff to patrons are pleasant, low drama, and come from every walk of life. Just a great place with great food and a beautiful outdoor space with a playset, cornhole, and fireplaces! The nachos feed me for three meals and the truffle fries are amazing! Beer selection is also exceptional!Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly even in the evenings!

Just left, our food was delicious, enough food we had leftovers and left with full bellies!!! Our waitress LeAnn was absolutely amazing too! Attentive, kind, and did a fantastic job! Give that girl a raise!!! Thank you for letting us spend Halloween with the Doc family!!!
