Simply the best brisket in Texas. I have eaten at a few top notch BBQ places in Texas. This is the best brisket that I have eaten and will return with each visit to Abilene. Everything we order was mouth watering good. Keep up the good work. (Stay tuned they may open a sandwich only trailer to help expedite lunch wait times.)
We live out of town but frequently travel to Abilene, and honestly, we have no idea why we hadn’t tried Jay’s before now. We love good BBQ, and what we found at Jay’s was nothing short of phenomenal. Hands down, this is some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. The brisket and OG sausage weren’t just delicious—they were an experience. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and we can’t wait to come back again and again!
My husband and I have tried all of their regular meats, pig candy, sides, and some of their specials… we are convinced they don’t know how to make a bad food. Everything is always wonderful and hits the spot. Hands down the best bbq spot in Abilene, maybe even Texas.
