The potato salad & jalapeno corn was delicious. Chicken strips & fried fish fillets were a bit overcooked & hard, but had good flavor. The JA Corral is a perfect venue for a luncheon or dinner meeting.
I wanted to go 2.5 stars. I chose 3 because the friendly staff.The brisket we had was dry and lacked any substantial bark or smoke flavor. In my experience this usually happens when it is reheated.The corn bread was ok. I didnt try anything else.
Dine and and great food as usual... A few times I have ordered my normal steak and wanted to add salmon and have always been allowed to do that at an additional charge, but not full entree price since eating four sides of two meals might be a little much to eat... This trip I was denied being able to add only the salmon to my steak so I was semi sad as I ate my awesome steak, salad, and also AWESOME loaded sweet potato...
