This post is about a month past due. We're new to Abilene, so we've driven by this place never stopped. My son wants me to join him for a late lunch(1-2p). We decided to stop last min, 15min before closing, they close at 2p. The lady that happened to be outside invited us in, sat us at a table and brought out fresh chips and salsa. We ordered our food, it was nice and hot and fresh. The staff were all polite. Most places would have been rude and rushing us out the door...
My husband and I eat here almost every Saturday and everything we’ve had has been amazing !!!! The bean and cheese pupusa is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu.
Food was delicious. Carne-Guisada amply portioned. Pancakes full, light, and fluffy!! IMO, rice, to my taste was a little dry, but seasoned well beans. Chips and Salsa was mild for my tast. Small dining area, so plan accordingly during busy times. Give it a go!!
