We came to get some pizza this evening. The service was great, our food was great and the turn aroung was quick. The night manager really knows what he is doing and was very professional. I do have a safety suggestion for the store however. I noticed a few customers using the employee entrance in which the night manager politely asked them not to use that door..as it is for employees only per the signs in the door. This is a safety hazard more than just an annoyance. Ide advise a code box on the door. Many resturaunts in town have used the code box method for decades to ensure employee safety. Employee safety these days is not something to risk. Either way, the customers were rude to the manager and he stayed professional. This is an avoidable situation. We love papa johns and go there a few times a month. it would be nice to know a place we are supporting, does what it needs to, to put employee safety first as well as provide good service. Thanks again Nate for the great food and service!

I will no longer be a customer at Papa John's. Twice now, we order then get transferred to a 3rd party pay system just to be connected to another person that says they don't have the order or are from a different state altogether. But they took our money. Never again. Horrible service.

The first time I saw the manager, Chris, I think I developed an unfair bias about him. He was leading a team of diverse people in front of thin glass window of demanding customers with high expectations. Me being one of them. His methodology was unorthodox but genius. Chris shouldn't be working at a Papa John's storefront on N 1st in Abilene, TX - he should be working at the top. Pull this guy out of the store and get him into upper management. He is a solutions-based problem solver that knows how to speak the language of the business.

Pulled up to pickup my order and I was immediately approached by a vagrant wanting money. I will not go back there to be put in that situation again.
Papa John's customer service is a masterclass in incompetence. From the surly staff who seem to despise the very notion of serving customers to the mind-bogglingly slow delivery times that make you wonder if they're delivering via snail mail, every interaction with Papa John's feels like a punishment. It's like they take pride in making your dining experience as miserable as possible. Save yourself the headache and order from literally anywhere else.

Did a Uber eats delivery for a customer, took more then 30+ minutes for pizza bites, had to tell them more then 4 times what order I was there for, never started on my order till the last time I was asked who I was waiting for. Grease leaked all down my leg as I was taking order to the customer.
